When I temporarily moved back to the area I was so happy I could bring my car to Roy's Auto again for a while before making my next permanent move. And before making that move I had them do a full inspection and as always was very happy with their honest, no pressure approach with their results and they even waived my inspection fee this time. With the service I opted to take care of before I left, their charge amount was great and they even discounted one of the services. They completed the service in a timely fashion and my car had a smooth, worry-free drive during the 1400 mile trip when I moved. Thank you again Roy's Auto for always being a high quality, honest car mechanic shop! And they work on all types of vehicles - not just Volvos. I have a Honda. I will miss you guys again!

Two of the biggest issues of finding a mechanic is finding one that is competent and trustworthy. I have been bringing my vehicles to Roy for what seems like a decade now. He is a wizard mechanic worth every penny. Moreover, I trust Roy completely. Not once has he tried to upsell a questionable service or use inferior parts. His rates are fair and he is a great man to be around.

We had a problem with the parts supplier. The went way beyond what I would have expected them to do. Very friendly, amazing to work with. Highly recommend this this place of business. I have only had my vehicle back for 3 days but everything is working perfectly. Their customer service handling my parts problem was outstanding. Love this place!

I slid into a curb one morning on my way to work and was trying to find somewhere close to get it fixed. I was referred to Roy’s and I have to say I wouldn’t have changed a thing. They were able to get me in within minutes and let me know that I had bent my tie rod. The replacement part was there in no time and over all I spent maybe 2 hours there. They were super quick and super friendly. I will definitely be back for general maintenance. Love this place and all the people. Thank you Roy’s! P.S they also let me keep the tie rod as well as telling me a couple things that my car will need done in the near future without trying to haggle me into getting them done that day!

Umm Erica! She is amazing! I have never felt more at home when I was there. I came in to get a rusted out license plate screw out of my car. I walked away with the problem solved, new friends, and an estimate for more work to be done. This was the best experience I have ever had at any mechanic or body shop. They are so friendly. Even the clients in the shop were catching the fire and were so happy. It makes me feel like there is hope in this world that we can be friendly to all and remember to carry a smile. Thank you Roy's auto Body. And thank you Erica! It doesn't seem like you are under appreciated here, but in case you are, this business would sorely miss you if you were gone. You have an amazing radiance that shines proudly! Keep it up!

I can't say enough positive things about Roy's. Went here first for the intoxalock services. Their mechanic has fixed numerous issues with my vehicle quickly.. sometimes even issues that I didn't even go in there for... Then! They didn't even charge me for that extra labor he did (twice!) When they charge me for the services they performed its so reasonable that I feel like I should offer to pay more! Lastly, the things they've fixed... breaks, transmission issues, windows, etc have stopped being an issue ever since. These guys deserve recognition for their explemplary service as professionals and also for being such good people.

Roy is an extremely honest and fair owner and master technician. His company is one of only a few automotive repair companies I feel confident referring to others.

The people that work here are all very polite and they work fast. When you're waiting inside, they even ask if you want anything to drink. They're all great people and even better workers.

Roys Auto is great! I have a vintage sports car that needed some accident repair and they took care of it no problem. Erica was super cost conscience when finding parts and constantly made sure I was ok with the price. The work they did was awesome and got my car back to me quickly.

We have taken our Tahoe to Roy’s for a years now for maintenance and every issue we’ve had with it.
I seriously wouldn’t trust my car with anyone else but Roy.
He doesn’t take advantage of you, and explains what work needs to be done and why, and lets you decide if it is worth it without trying to talk you into doing it.
The woman at the front desk is so sweet and she will sit there and talk to you while you wait for the work to be done. Oh, and they have snacks in the waiting room, which is always a plus. 😜
If you want an honest and trustworthy mechanic, Roy’s is the one to go to!

Roy’s is my go to. They always try and make recommendations to help me save money and be preventative with car care. I called yesterday hearing some weird noises and Caden told me to bring it in right away. They got it figured out by the end of the day yesterday, did an oil change for me this morning, and I picked it up today. Their team’s customer service is amazing and they’re always willing to go the extra mile!!

We have used Roy’s for all of our car repair needs. They do great work and are very helpful and honest with the work and very professional. We have had them work on all our vehicles from my ‘94 F 250 to our ‘17 Expedition. We even referred them to work on my nephew’s VW Tiguan. I would recommend them to anyone for any work they need done.

As an old volvo owner it's always a great feeling to find a shop like Roy's. I'm out on vacation and had an intake issue with my 1990 volvo 240 on my way out from Colorado. Roy's is THE PLACE to go for anything volvo related, especially the older ones. Not only did they answer all my questions but got me on the schedule next day. Quickly found the issue, were very communicative about what was happening with my vehicle and even sourced the parts and had them a day later. I would HIGHLY recommend them even if you don't own a volvo based on customer service alone. Roy's has made my 10 day vacation in my 33 year old car with almost 400k miles a possibility and I can't thank them enough. If you're able to choose a garage it should be them hands down. Thanks again to everyone at Roy's Auto Service for being kind, professional, communicative, and quick to solve the problem with my vehicle.

Roys is the best place around to go for any car needs. Not only that, but they are the only place I would ever go to for Volvo maintenance. Not just Roy, (the owner), but all of the staff are extremely nice, honestly, and personable. The feeling of being able to hand my car over in complete trust is unmatched. Thank you, Roy's!

First off, I was 30 minutes late to my appointment and they still managed to fit me in. I dealt with Roy and he was personable and spent some time explaining the nuances of my recently purchased Volvo S60. I told him to fix whatever needed to be fixed so he could have charged me whatever and I wouldn't have been the wiser. I even told him that the battery needed to be changed but he explained that it just needed to be programmed.
My car was ready in under an hour and all the issues that I had presented were all resolved (except for needing a software update which they are unable to do). The bill was several hundred dollars less than I had anticipated and that was directly due to Roy's honesty.
Overall I was EXTREMELY satisfied with my experience at Roy's Auto. I don't know about their knowledge of other types of vehicles but I would DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone needing service on their Volvo.

100% recommend! I’ve been going to Roy’s for years and I definitely credit him and his staff for keeping my old car going for over 200,000 miles. Everyone here is highly professional and their work is honest and trustworthy. If there ever is a problem (which has been rare in my experience) it is handled professionally and fairly. I live in Salt Lake, but still make the effort to get down here because it is definitely worth it to me. I think Roy is not only a skilled mechanic, but provides excellent care to the people and cars that come through. I will always be grateful for Roy and his team!

The staff here is super knowledgeable, friendly, reasonably price and down to earth. Would recommend this to anyone!
