These people oppress and Rob from the very businesses that pay their wage. Olympia's parking enforcement makes me sick.
I am a local downtown business owner and just this year so far I've accrued over $200 in parking tickets. I have the app I use it and they still give parking tickets for being too close to the yellow line or whatever. My vehicle is 24 and 1/2 ft long which is longer than most of the spaces downtown and it's almost impossible to park my vehicle anyways. Olympia needs to rethink its parking enforcement. This isn't Seattle.... Come on City of Olympia you can do better for the people that pay your wages!!!!!!

Does not maintain it's parking meters.

I parked in an old fashioned parking meter the other day and you used to be able to push a button to get the fifteen minutes free.

This feature has been disabled.

I also made a video about what happens when you put a coin in the parking meter to access the free fifteen minutes (as the directions on the meter stated), but it's just a money grab as usual. Video is available upon request.

I had to change lawn into parking. If I'm doing any construction and can't fit any extra vehicles on my off-street parking, the extra vehicles will get overtime ticketed because I'm not in the parking program. "Parking Nazis"

Liars, cheats, no legitimate dispute resolution

I promise they got my car marked. They know when your parking meter is set to expire so they just come 1 minute after the expiration and drop a ticket. They should not have this type of information it should be they run parking spot, the system should return paid or not paid.
