They have beeswax!!! Smells like honey. Staff is very helpful and not pushy. They also have other types of waxes and will ship to you. Update, April 2023, they are still there and have many candle scents.

Swans candles is very lovely. A very kind safe environment with many unique candle options. For a small business they have very nice reasonable prices. I just got introduced to candle making and this shop is the best place to go for candle making supplies. 10/10 very pleasant experience 😊.

Always a good experience. You should call ahead to make sure someone is there, but enjoy "networking", and petting the dogs and cats...and spending money! LOL

I'm new to candle making and I'm sure the workers could tell but they helped alot and hooked me up with some good wax and oil for a great deal. Way better than waiting 5 days for an online option I was using before finding swans. I will be going back for my candle needs from now on and definitely recommend it as well. I love this wax it doesn't feel so cheap like the previous brand I used.

Wonderful family owned business. A hidden gem. Best customer service, great selection, and such friendly people every time I’ve visited the shop. If you’re local you can place an order and have it ready for pickup within an hour or so. Just an awesome shop that I’ll for sure keep coming back to.

These people are so amazing. My friend and I took the trip from Tacoma to tenino to check them out. Awesome scent selection. Amazing wax. Like for real people. You don’t know how long i struggled with dipping wax in my candles. The gentlemen recommended some paraffin soy blend and IMMEDIATELY I SAW IMPROVEMENT! Not to mention they have some super cute doggos chillin in the shop. I will definitely be back!

I ran out of encaustic medium and wax suddenly during a big project and ordered late afternoon. Mindy at Swan's sent it out THAT DAY so it arrived the next for no extra charge!!!! The woman running the store was super knowlegable and really kind. She was just about to close but still helped us figure out everything that we needed for our candles. She even gave us a packet of tips and tricks. We will definitely be going back. It's a beautiful drive there and back.

This was my first trip to my local candle supplier and I literally have nothing but good things to say about the entire experience from start to finish. I gave them a call ahead of time as the drive is about an hour. The man on the phone was more than happy to assist me with any questions that could be answered from there. Upon arriving to this large price of property, you are greeted by 2 of the friendliest German Shepherds. Then, the woman working there was probably the most helpful person, willing to give you tips and tricks to make your candlemaking experience fun and affordable. Things that I was doing improperly were explained so I come out with a better product. Then the prices... Oh my! Best deals anywhere online. No shipping on my 50 pound bag of wax or the other box full of goodies haha. Seriously, I can't wait until I need more items to go back!

Owners were so helpful with my limited knowledge of candle making but when I explained what I wanted to do they set me up without overcharging me along with telling me to call with any questions. I highly recommend for beginners in making candles and soap products

, swans candles just a couple miles off the freeway of I-5 you take Highway 12 about two miles towards the speedway it'll be a left hand turn your go down about another three-quarters of a mile on your right hand side you'll see this big Swann if the kids ain't tore it up they keep stealing it all the time Pete's have a terrible time but he keeps building it he loves his mama Peter make sure you get the best deal he can get with good candle supplies quality is good candle scents and good wax and need the containers he got them he'll get you what you need he'll take good care of it some go and see that Swann candle supplies in store it's open to the public

This is a great place to find anything having to do with wax. Candles, encaustics, and more. They stock some hard to find items like Epolene, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Scent Beads, and an internal release agent called Releasant that really works. In addition to those items, I especially like their Candelilla wax, White Microcrystalline Wax, Yellow Beeswax, and their Spa Wax! They have made major improvements to their website recently. Have a look!

A great place for encaustic supplies. While I'm there I also like to pick up fragrances for home made bath products. They also have candle making supplies all of this is a great prices too!
