Ohhh guys... the everything croissant. It’s worth the gym time, every second!!

I’d recommend getting it warmed, there’s a cream cheese center. The outside is fluffy and soft and you have this crumbly, salty, crunchy exterior but it’s just .... perfect.

Even my bread hating husband went back for a second “try this bite”.

I don’t drink coffee but they have a lot of alternative drink options including a great kombucha.

Staff is great! Tons of parking! Run to this place and thank me later! :)

Now THIS is the kind of coffee house ive been looking for! Cozy, good mood, books available, cribbage sets available, and plenty of space to play board games or whatever! Most coffee shops give me a vibe like " get in, buy something, and. Get out!" But not here! Taildragger makes me feel like I should come in and relax for a while, and maybe bring a date.

They serve Batdorf & Bronson coffee out of Olympia, which is great. Pastries were amazing, some of which were from Main Street Baking Co. in Auburn. Free WiFi at both 2.4ghz and 5g, which is nice if you're trying to work on a busy morning. AC and USB outlets in the eating counters. Excellent staff!! Will be back tomorrow.

This place is a real gem. I went here on a first date in August 2019 and was really impressed with the staff, the coffee and the atmosphere. It is cozy, clean and has a nice feel. I would highly recommend visiting the Taildragger if you are in town. I guarantee you will not be sorry.

I keep going back! Delicious coffee and great people everytime... Knowledgeable brew crew! Put them to the test and have them invent a drink to your tastes! Also a nice selection of lite tasty food and teas. Local small business doing it right! Go have a brew, a smile and a breath of fresh air. ♥

I always enjoy coming here. They serve batdorf and bronson coffee which is some of the best coffee around. The space is incredibly well lit and welcoming. A great place to spend weekend mornings soaking up the sun or staying out of the rain. Deli and food items and soup available too. I personally host coffee and canvas events here once a month and love working with them!

Excellent coffee, excellent service, and - yep - excellent atmosphere. All the plants make it an extremely welcoming space.

This is my go to coffee spot. I get coffee here at least once a week and it is consistently an excellent experience. The staff are kind and upbeat. The owner is active in the front end of the business and takes time to make connections with the customers.

I have never had a pastry I didn't enjoy as they source their baked goods from the Bread Peddler. The coffee is Batdorf and Bronson. I love that this business support local!

I also enjoy the events that this business hosts. I'm looking forward to attending my second paint and sip later this month.

The atmospere here is chill and warm. The specialty beverages are unique and fascinating. Great customer service. You want to talk about dogs, parades, and how to fly a helicopter, this is your place.

Oh, I can't forget to mention the amazing apple fritters and their assortment of other goods.

And, there is a very personable curly haired entrepreneur that displays and sells plants and other home goods. Very fun to chat with and share banter.

Visit, they'll learn about you and will know your specialty before you know it.

This is a great coffee shop off the beaten path.They serve Batdorf and Bronson coffee and it's excellent as expected. They've got food, too, but I haven't tried anything yet. Ownership and staff are pleasant and polite. The atmosphere is inviting and there is always plenty of spots to sit. You can also take a book from their small library and leave one you've already read! Everyone reading this, please spend your coffee money here and support small businesses and our community.

Hands down my favorite coffee shop! I've been going here regularly since they opened. They have maintained friendly service, give attention to detail, and serve great coffee. The staff is knowledgeable and offer great suggestions if you are stuck. The only time I have ever noticed they aren't "smiling" or "as welcoming as usual" is when they are in the middle of coffee rush and they are hellbent trying to get everyone's order exactly right. I recommend this place to everyone I know. It is a great place to study, meet up with friends, or to just come and hang out.

Hands down the best coffee shop to work, hang out or meet a friend! The staff, especially Amy, are wonderful. Coffee is great and the selection of tea is also awesome. Food is great, with a wide selection of baked goods, sandwiches, healthy options, gluten free, dairy free and rotating soups. They have the most options of add-ins and different milks I've ever seen. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, while also offering crazy amounts of plugins for your computer or phone. You should definitely try this place out!

Good coffee with locally sourced light bites and pastries. Really friendly staff.

This was a very nice coffee shop. Their drip coffee and tea were both very nice. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. The man running the espresso machine saw one of the kids shove my coffee onto the floor and had the mop and bucket out before I could even get there to ask. Plenty of parking behind the building. We had a little bit of a hard time seeing it from the street in traffic.

So happy to have this coffee shop close to work. Owners and staff super friendly, they make a great cup of coffee, and have a wide range of food, including some gluten free treats. Store is comfortable and quiet

Update 10/23/2020: I have a new appreciation for Taildragger under the new owners. The coffee is excellent and I love that they're supporting other local businesses selling bouquets and sticky buns on Sundays. Espresso and milk is an art and I was super impressed to taste the natural sweetness in the plain latte. Not everyone can do that. I now go out of my way to go here!

I've given this place numerous opportunities and am always disappointed. The espresso always tastes bitter and burnt. No crema at all. Overpriced compared to other Bardorfs, even the privately owned ones. I prefer straight espresso with a little milk but also tried a sweet drink with milk to mask the espresso flavor and it didn't work. I'm giving this 3 stars because they sell Elyse's banana bread and Batdorfs beans so I can just make it at home.

Best coffee shop in town!! They care about their coffee and it shows. The baristas are so friendly and really know how to make perfect coffee. Love the ambiance, great for getting work done or meeting someone for a cozy cup of joe. They have great food for a quick lunch or snack. I’ve lived in Oly most of my life and it’s by far the best coffee shop in the Tumwater, Lacey, and Olympia area.

Great place to meet up and have a cup of great coffee! Good selection of snacks as well. Staff has always been friendly and greets you with a smile! Nice to have a good sit down coffee shop in town!
