Great spot to sit out and have a morning pastry. It’s outdoor seating only but the area is covered with an awning and lots of plants, to help you feel a bit more secluded from the street. We went at 10am on a Tuesday and we’re able to find paid parking, but you might have to circle a bit later in the day or on the weekend.

The coffee is great but the pastries are the real star of the show. They heat up everything for you and you can tell it was made fresh in-house that day. I highly recommend the cardamom bun. It was fluffy and lightly sweet on the inside and had a crunchy sugar outside. The lime bar was very good as well.

Overall a great place to come hang out or catch up with a friend. If you’re looking to get work done, I would just caution that you have to be prepared to sit outside next to a decently busy street, so it might be a little distracting. But if you’re still up for it, they do have Wi-Fi. Definitely a somewhere to stop in the next time you’re in the neighborhood!

Great spot for some tasty treats in east Hollywood. Adds up to be kind of pricey when you order multiple things. The coffee & tea shop is right next to the restaurant on the corner in a separate location. Metered and free parking nearby. Plenty of outdoor seating (tented, when I went). Latte was basic. Tried both savory and sweet pastries—make sure to try them warmed up! Their Swedish cardamom rolls with tahitian vanilla syrup was fantastic—loved how the cardamom came out but also blended with the rest of the pastry. Uniquely tasty. Also tried the spinach & feta bourekas, a bit too heavy on the salt on top but otherwise quite delicious.

Our favorite place for challah! I cannot rave enough about their challah and sweets! Everything here tastes so amazing, and freshly made cannot be beaten! Moving down to LA I had been trying to find a bakery closer to me that had challah, and I am so glad Saffy's has opened because we have found our spot!

Not only do they have amazing fresh baked bread (ready @9am lol) but my pups love everyone here and it is one of their favorite spots to visit/walk to, they have an outdoor patio and brunch over the weekend, which I have yet been able to join but am excited to venture towards one of these weekends.

Great small space, some of the best coffee in the area, and extremely quick and friendly! Love stoping by here for a quick caffeine jolt.

I got a vanilla latte, potato curry turnover (I forgot what it was called exactly) and the oatmeal currant cookie. Honestly I just went for coffee and wanted to try some pastries when I saw them, but those are what truly blew me away. I'm talking Ratatouille food hallucination love 😅 Both were simply perfect (the cookie was dense and moist and I ate it in about 50 seconds) but the curry turnover was like a revalation. I was seriously suppressing laughter as I was eating it it was so good! I just haven't had a pastry like this in a while since i traveled to other other countries. This is a beautiful place to get a coffee but the pastry chef is just elevating it all to another level. The vanilla syrup in my latte was housemade, which I appreciated. I almost wasn't used to the flavor because I'm so used to getting the sugar vanilla syrup at most places. It was very pure vanilla bean.

Oh my goodness this place is amazing! I got an earl grey latte, the potato curry boureka, and a challah loaf. I haven’t had a boureka since I was in Israel so I’m glad to find a place that makes them because this was divine. The latte was so refreshing and had a wide depth of flavor and I have been making tons of meals with the challah loaf. Can’t recommend enough and I can’t wait to try the restaurant as well. 10/10!

Been here a handful of times and it never disappoints. Pastries are delicious and properly priced, chai slaps (hard). Glad that it is the closest spot, so I don’t have to go too far for good coffee. 🫡 shouts out Saffy’s
