Yellowhawk Resort and Sparkling House

We stopped at Yellowhawk Tasting Room on vacation to check out the sparkling wine. My friends and I really enjoyed their wine and the location was beautiful.

I then decided to bring a travel group of 25 people back to Yellowhawk. We were BLOWN AWAY by the beautiful surroundings, service, food, and wine! We were set up outside under a private tent with a food and wine pairing. Winemaker George-Anne talked to us about each wine and answered all our questions. FANTASTIC experience!

What a gem! Stopped for lunch and a cheeky wine before heading out of town. Beautiful grounds, stunning view, great staff (thank you Roxie), and delicious, bubbly wine. Go! Enjoy!

As a wedding florist it was such a joy to design at Yellowhawk! Shannon and her team were incredibly kind and made my job a breeze! The load-in and parking situation were ideal and I could not have asked for a better day at the venue. I cannot wait to go back for a tasting soon!

We hosted a brunch for family and friends here. The setting is spectacular, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. I worked with the event planner and she made everything so easy.

We had an amazing weekend here! Such a beautiful place and great space for dining and hanging out with friends/family or small corporate event. Loved it!

Fantastic location and spectacular facilities. Sparkling wines were excellent and traditional reds and whites from Basil Hills were also excellent. Prestigious new ownership with aggressive expansion plans. We will definitively be coming back when we are in or near Walla Walla.

The location/setting of Basel Cellars was a welcome surprise. The grounds were beautiful. The tasting room staff were extremely helpful and cheerful. We received a private tour and were able to sample wine from a barrel that was close to being bottled. I have cellared several Basel red varietals for 4+ years and all have matured quite nicely. A great value!

Stopped by this gem with a colleague after a day of meetings. We’d heard great things about Washington wines and Basel Cellars didn’t disappoint. The tasting room manager, Kevin, was extremely knowledgeable, warm, and welcoming. I can’t say that there was any wine on the line up this day that we didn’t enjoy, and even the white was fantastic. Great reds - all here smooth, fruit forward and bold (oak varied by wine). Check this place out - you won’t be disappointed!

I have never been to the winery, it's self, but their wine is fantastic! The Cab, in particular, is the best I think I've had. I live in southern Idaho and they unfortunately don't sell Basel Cellars here so I have to have it shipped for special occasions, but it's totally worth it. I highly recommend this wine!

We love visiting this beautiful chateau at the top of a hill overlooking the estate vineyards with the mountains in the distance. Their staff in the tasting room is very knowledgeable and helpful, but the wine of course is the best part! We’ve never had anything but yummy wine there. Love the Merriment!!!

Wonderful atmosphere! Delightful wine! Friendly and happy staff ready to help you learn more about what they offer. I have yet to taste one I didn't enjoy, and one of 2 wine clubs I desire to be a member of. I know I will always be satisfied with what I receive! Go lift a glass! Prost!

Great sparkling wine and delicious prosciutto wrapped dates.

Ate at their sister steak place the night before and was a little disappointed that they had a free subscription club that pairs with Yellowhawk that we weren't told about when we paid. It gets you $25 off your next Yellowhawk purchase. We were told about it at Yellowhawk and a bit disappointed we hadn't signed up at the steak house to use there, so I had to pay full price.

I have been enjoying Basel Cellar red wines since 2009. Matter of fact I have their wines shipped to me in Nebraska. Last Saturday I had friends over, we opened a 2014 Inspire and WOW! it was fantastic. I’m slowly showing my Nebraska friends what a big, bold red wine should taste like.

We attended the Basel Wine tasting at a special event at Embers by the Lake in Hauser, Idaho. The event was spectacular! I loved that it was a smaller event that gave each diner time to speak to the Vintner, Dirk, and appreciate his approach to each of the wines we tasted. The wines that were paired with each of the fire cooked pizzas were delicious and we were offered ample opportunity to taste each of the wines offered. We went home with several bottles and wonderful memories of this dining experience.

Basel wineries does it RIGHT! - Adjacent to the tasting room is this breathtaking venue. The home is beyond description! We so appreciated the architectural wonders to the small details. STAFF, can't say enough how welcoming WOODY was from beginning to end! We had a group of 11 and stayed for three nights. We all wished we had booked longer. The place is filled with amenities we enjoyed. It was early for the pool but Woody opened it up and we took advantage of the built in slide for a cool dip. We enjoyed the hot tub for late night and the full set up in the bar downstairs for Karaoke. Downstairs is like it's own world, bar, pool table and fully equipped theater room! We made it a goal to use all the dining areas. No small chore as there are 4 plus pool area tables! Woody took us on a private tour and tasting with the winemaker, who I had waved to having coffee, we had no idea that was him! The kitchen is FULLY equipped down to the spices. Everything you need to cook or GRILL. We had The Q Wood-Fired Grill catered one night and they were amazing ! HIGHLY recommend Sandy and Emry. OH MY OH MY this place is beyond your expectations! THANK YOU BASEL cellars for sharing your breathtaking home away from home with us !

I love this winery! The wine is beautiful and always drinkable, whether you open as soon as you pick it up (it's hard to wait sometimes) or you cellar it for a few years. I also love the Woodinville tasting room. The staff is always knowledgeable and friendly and they let my pups sit on the patio. This is one of my favorite places in Woodinville.

Remarkable! We had a wedding for my daugther's at the estate. Beautiful, immaculate, the perfect setting for a wedding. The wedding party of 20 stayed at the estate 3 days - enjoyed the accomodations and Basel Cellars wine. Woody and his staff are amazing, they have customer service figured out. Every issue was solved, everything we needed help with they helped graciously. What a wonderful experience, great wine, beautiful estate, and fabulous staff to work with.

We visit Walla Walla many times a year and we always stop in at Basal Cellars for their amazing wine. Roxy always greets us with a smile and gives us excellent service. So many nice people at Basal Cellars, a great view to sit out and have a glass of wine. Don’t miss this winery.

I spent last Sunday out there and had one of the best winery experiences ever. This facility is world class. It was hot and sunny in the afternoon and we were treated to a magnificent thunderstorm at sunset. Brian and Woody were excellent hosts with wine to match. I especially liked the Estate Syrah and the Malbec. Not to be missed on any wine tour of Walla Walla...

Great place and a amazing view of the blues. Food was good. Not a big wine person but the wine was good. Had a couple of cross buck beers to.
