Balboa Winery

We had a great tasting experience at Balboa! Friendly team and great wines. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable visit. There's patio seating with reservations where you can take your time and enjoy the beautiful property.

Came in from Martinez & Martinez Winery! In Prosser wa. Tasted the Carmenere at taste of Washington and it was fantastic! Stopped by to do a tasting and it was awesome ! Will come back when we get a chance.

Greeted by Tom and offered a mini tasting since we were driving, loved the pooches and the shaded patio! The sparkling rosé is exceptional and coming home with us for a special summer event. Felt like we were family and would come back in a heartbeat the next time we are in Walla Walla. The rosé is lights out!

Had a wonderful experience here. The wines were very good, but the service was excellent. It was all about making the taster feel comfortable while also being educated on the wines in a manner that was not pretentious. Very comfortable atmosphere. Just enjoyable overall.

Stopped here on a recommendation from someone on a dating app. The folks at Balboa every effort to accommodate us despite being busy and us showing up on a whim. Really nice wines (I really liked red grenache), great atmosphere, and lovely setting. Minus two stars for Abbi the dog not immediately jumping into my lap. Just kidding, give old Abbi some love! Would return, no questions asked. Speaking of questions, should I ask the person from a dating app out?

What a winery! This place has some of the best wines in Walla Walla. We were blown away by the great selection of wine and the welcoming atmosphere. The gentleman pouring wine was very knowledgeable and had great suggestions for other wineries.

What a wonderful experience and great wines!!! When my company had to stay back because of not feeling well I ended up going by myself figuring it would be a quick tasting. Had so much fun with other friendly guests and the owner that I stayed to closing. Can’t say enough about the hospitality and of course the wonderful wines. Highly recommend!!

Went here because we are bad planners. Felt like celebrities even after showing up without a reservation. The entire staff was so kind and helpful and helped us understand some wine terminology we were not familiar with. There was also pizzas that were sooo yummy! Truly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Plus the location is beautiful and the tastings are only $10.

Small venue but great experience. We got 6 pours for $15. The staff knowledge was excellent.

We recently visited Balboa and had a fantastic experience. Jordi introduced us to the wines available and they were amazing. We joined the wine club and have already received our first shipment. We highly recommend Balboa wines and especially Jordi for his attention to detail in describing the wines and hosting our first experience. We will definitely return!

The Winery is run by an amazing team Tom and Amy are absolutely the best to work with. We had them pour for an event in Seattle the team was very personable and the guests had a wonderful time. The Rose and Merlot were my personal favorites. I would highly recommend them for any events.

We live 300 miles away. We have visited Walla Walla several times. We fell in love with this winery. We are not experts but have been wine tasting and drinking for over 20 years. We have traveled to Napa, Sonoma, Paso Robles. We live in Oregon so we have been north and south in our state.
Balboa has some fine wines, each time we were treated with respect and as a serious taster were given extra tastes. I have recommended this winery to many people.
Lovely outdoor setting, or indoors if the weather dictates.
