Tumwater Division of Vocational Rehabilitation

I have had a very helpful, educational experience with the Tumwater DVR. There may be a long wait list but it is worth it as far as my experience has been.

Waste of time. After a year worth of appointments that did nothing to rehabilitate me, they passed the buck and referred me to work source.

Compared with other government agencies dvr is exceptionally long drawn out irritating waste of time. They don't accommodate many sensitive autistic introverted overstimulated disabilities. The offices are bright. They require tons of verbal communication and videos when it could be written. They are not doctors and suggest medication which is not their job. So do the business consultants they refer you to. Not the service I came there for. Waste of well over year so far. 3 extensions filed waiting for a consultant because they dont even have people contracted for services they are supposed to provide. Sure arent helping disabled people who want to work meet their goals or fund straight forward necessary job related costs.

Worse experience ever this office needs to be shut down waste of tax payers money
