Lakewood Yoga

I decided to try a month pass, as I have been going through a lot of stressful things in life and had been wanting to try yoga. From day one, I felt safe to explore the new practice for myself without any judgement or pressure. I tried a bunch of different classes under my monthly membership and have now found that I really resonate with yin, deep relaxation, and sound healing with Jessie. I enjoy that she is very accepting and calming and really guides you through what to do. I also like that 2 oracle cards are read during the practice because they always seem to be what I need to hear. Great place, I highly recommend!

Absolutely LOVE both Anna and Chris for their all level and power flows. Anna’s teachings are always intentional, powerful, and mindful flows while Chris’s are challenging, strong, and methodical. They both guide you to your edge while encouraging you to push yourself. Highly recommend these instructors.

Lakewood Yoga is a wonderful studio. The space is so warm and welcoming. They have a great variety of class offerings, there is something for everyone here. Drop in for a class to experience the magic of the studio.

My husband and I both attend yoga classes here. The monthly unlimited package is a great value if you like to go often. I'm not very active, just getting back into yoga/fitness, and I'm a little overweight so sometimes I'm self-conscious going to gyms and studios, but Lakewood Yoga is very welcoming to everybody and I feel very comfortable there.

Yoga has been good for my mental and physical health, and I love going to this cute little Lakewood Yoga studio. If you're new, try the 9 am beginner class on Saturdays, anything Yin (longer holds and slower transitions), or slow flow. They have vinyasa and power yoga which can be more intense. They also have a prenatal yoga class which I'm interested in if I ever get pregnant. 100% would recommend.

Many improvements since the studio recently changed hands. More teachers and fuller class schedule. Friendly instructors have great class presence. If you like to practice yoga in a cozy 100-year old building without a lot of frills and at a good price, this place is for you.

I absolutely love this studio. There is nothing quite like it . Great teachers, great prices and a feeling of something truly magical. The community here is so diverse and accepting. This is what a yoga studio should feel like . Come and see for yourself!

Lakewood Yoga is a very inviting space and welcoming to all. The improvements that Sara made really enhance the vibe inside. I truly enjoy the early morning class with Lauren and the yin practice with Margaret on Sundays.

I went to an all levels vinyasa with Alyssa and it was amazing. Nice flow with a mini sound bath at the end. I can't wait to practice there again.
