Mill Pond Veterinary Clinic & Kennel

Everyone was so friendly. Took my puppy for her first visit and was given all the info I needed. Also was set up for future vaccination appointments before I left.

I am in the pet industry myself, and something I've found quite a bit is vets that don't actually listen to what you want to do with you animal because it goes "against the main stream". I've also had much less then positive experiences with other vets in the recent years so I was very hesitant to book an appointment for my 2yo male Aussie. However, from the time the nurse walked into the room until the time we left, I felt heard and taken seriously. Most importantly I didn't feel judged for any of the choices I've made for Jambis care over his short life span. I had an amazing experience with all the staff but especially the doctor. It truly felt like I had a team around my pup that INCLUDED me!

I cant say enough good things about this clinic. From the front desk ladies who made sure to get Jambi seen asap after we lost his full brother at only 3yr to lymphoma; to the nurse who listened and talked through everything with me; to the doctor which again, I can not say enough good things about. To say the least they completely surpassed my expectations and have a client for life!

Great local vet clinic, always my first choice! They have friendly knowledgeable staff for my dogs yearly checkup. When im on vacation they have a great "social boarding kennel" unlike others around. And if I have plans during the day there daycare is super easy to book online for half or full days!

Awesome experience. I brought my puppy in since she was bite by her sister. Dr. and tech were sweet and gentle with her. Thorough and gave me lots of opportunities to ask questions. Everyone that I came in contact with from the receptionist on up were phenomenal.

This place is great! They’re great with dogs for daycare, vet, and groomers. All the employees are very friendly. Can’t recommend this place enough!

I havebeen going to mill pond since my 1st dog, If she was alive, she would be 22 years old, my new dog is 10, and everyone treats you like old friends when you walk in. I also drive 30 minutes because they are wonderful veterans. I love them so much, thank you

Love Mill Pond. Dropped off our Rottweiler Friday morning & when I pick him up on Saturday he didn't want to come home. He really enjoyed being in doggie daycare.
Wouldn't hesitate to take him back.

We LOVE Mill Pond. Their vet services are awesome. We have a very anxious rescue and they are so great with her during her appointments. We also use their boarding and grooming services. The whole team does excellent work and we always know our dog is in excellent hands for whatever we need from nail trims to medical care.

So I've been going taking my pocket pittie here for about a year for daycare and private training. I simply cannot say enough good about this place.
Private training is done by Steve the trainer, he is one of the most incredible people you'll ever meet. Extremely calm, incredibly knowledgeable and a very down to earth, easy going guy. As a trainer, he's patient and knows so much about how to correct and work on your dogs issues. My pittie has a bunch of baggage being a rescue he was a total mess. We started with private training and I wanted daycare for proper socialization. Steve runs daycare on certain days so he's really able to offer his professional opinion and help your dog learn to play properly. My dog is a changed man, while he still has anxiety and many issues that stem from that, he's learned how to play which he never knew.
Daycare here is tended by Steve and when he's not there, a number of young men and women that truly care about your pups well being. Andrea I cannot thank you enough for your assistance with my Dually, I feel completely comfortable knowing when Steve isn't there you're making sure he's ok. The only negative thing I can say overall is that there is no indoor play area so if it's cold or really hot, it's not a place to go and i really don't understand why they don't have an area for this.
However, I absolutely love these people, they all genuinely care about your pet and there is no better place to take your furry family member. A special thank you to Karen whos been a delight to talk with in the front office, thank you for your kindness.

We moved here 2 years ago and chose Mill Pond to take our rescue American Bully. We are so happy we did. He was dog reactive and something we were always concerned about taking him anywhere, but he LOVED people. Everyone was always so helpful and accommodating. He unfortunately became suddenly ill at the beginning of the year. With Mill Pond's help, we got referred to another wonderful vet hospital. They were able to diagnose quickly but unfortunately there wasn't much to be done. We sadly had to make the painful decision to euthanize. Mill Pond was soooo accommodating and thoughtful in that hard time. Dr. Thayer even came in on a Saturday morning to see him again and help with the process. We will rescue again and feel so confident in their care and abilities, we look forward to working with them again soon.

I would NEVER consider going anywhere else. I have been going to Mill Pond for about 25 years. Unfortunately, I have moved 2 hours away in Maryland. I'm still thinking about making that trip for routine things because 2 of my dogs are ok in the car. However, my sheltie is not. He was recently diagnosed with cancer. I called Mill Pond after I was forced to use a vet down here. They were wonderful, as usual. I spoke with a technician for a while about his condition. The next day, Dr. Collins called me and was willing to speak with me about his diagnosis, treatment, expectation of treatment, and counseled me on when I should make a decision to let my beloved Riley go. That is how dedicated Dr. Thayer, Dr. Collins, the technicians, and everyone who works there are. I've been told that a hospice program is in the works there. Riley, Abby, Junior, and all of my animals could not have received better care elsewhere. I am EXTREMELY picky and untrusting when it comes to their care. You will not regret your decision to take your animals there.

Excellent place to bring your pets. Fantastic doggy daycare fun that always tires out our active dog.

Very caring staff and caring Doctors. A must for your fur baby . Took great care of an abandoned kitten I raised from 3 days old. She only weighed in at .75 pound but was treated like a princess

I love this place- they sincerely care about the doggies and all other pets too-
They explain things thoroughly and patiently- I truly appreciate the entire staff at Mill pond Veterinary clinic- GOD BLESS THEM🙏😇
One bad thing though is the prices are a bit high- but the quality of care for my doggie is outstanding!

Our go to place to board our dog. Our dog requires daily medication. The staff at Mill pond are excellent. A relief to know our pet is getting great care while we're away.

I thought it to be a very nice place. I was picking up my daughters dog for her and was amazed at the care and cleanliness of the establishment.
Not to mention, the price was excellent. I'll be taking my hounds there in the near future.

I have been taking my 10# yorkie here for 3.5 years. They do an outstanding job!

I have been bringing my dog here for 7 months. She loves it!!! The staff is wonderful the vet clinic staff and owner are so kind and helpful. They offer a variety of plans and classes. The prices are reasonable. I recommend it highly.
