I’ve been a PA-C here in my home state of Washington for more then 10 years. I’m also licensed in Alaska. I have always been treated with professionalism and competence. I love this state and the PNW.

Attempted to call to obtain status on application as recommended by website and was told to not contact the office for five weeks. Wouldn’t have been too bad of news had the representative I was trying to get help from not been so indignant about my request, made me feel like my application was not important and interrupted me during my request.

My deceased wife whom I brought up all the way from California for treatment of the AML she was diagnosed to have. She went through hell hoping to survive for at least a year or two that was the aim of her treating Oncologist for him I have high respect he told her that she had an incurable disease but gave her a glimpse of hope that she needed.after two chemos and maintenance chemo and a slew of tests she was refused transplantation the reason given by the director was because of her age of 75 god knows how young she was physically and mentally. He changed his mind after I pointed out to him that his decision was not based on a face to face contact and proper evaluation of the case. She took the transplant very well ,she developed stage 2-3 GVHD eight months later that became Steroid resistant she was kept regardless on the high steroid dosage not noticing that she was developing proximal progressive myopathy as a consequence . Despite her serum albumen of less than 2 and her anemia the intravenous Cyclisporin dosage was not adjusted to compensate for the anemia low albumen and her use the anti fungal prophylaxis leading to neuropathy and ultimately intra cranial comps.Yes she passed away but was not from her cancer but from negligent medical care noting that her bone marrow biopsy was negative for cancer in less than a month from the date of her demise and the colon biopsy showed progressive healing! There is more to be said but there is no room.I complained in writing twice, YOUR ANSWER was that you did not find a reason for further investigation as there was no intent of harm done as it appeared to you.I am an MD and state affirmatively that there is a case for negligence probably not intentional but from lack of knowledge. The worst that thatMD did when he answered to my wife’s question addressed to him (what are my chances )he answered ( you will not walk out of the hospital )that is witnessed , may be that is ok in Washington but not in California definitely it is verbal abuse expressing a very low standard of ethics

This is a government-funded waste of time that does not properly investigate complaints about doctors. Doctors are in positions of unique power and need to be held accountable when they transgress their role; look elsewhere if you want effective oversight.
