Yelm Community Services

This little town of Yelm has this wonderful jewel, right in the heart of the town. It serves the needs of the community through the food bank. Additionally, the department of licensing section is so user-friendly. The folks here are so polite and professional. You can get your tabs, title, registration Etc. right here in town

I always take advantage of the ood bank, they have much to offer.
The line goes way up the road and it's a wait but, I've got a hungry family and the food bank helps me make sure we are getting balanced meals.
I do miss there little thrift store. Closed when COVID hit.

I was surprised to find a line on a Monday morning. There was only 1 person working. She was pleasant even when one gentleman was annoying and asking questions while standing in line and she was working with another person. Another worker came on when it was my turn for assistance. She was congenial and efficiently processed my transaction. Parking is sufficient, and there are chairs in the lobby to sit while you wait your turn. The office was small and tidy. I would not go there on a Thursday, however, as they share this location with the Food Bank, so there will be more cars and congestion.

First visit to this location to pick up my car tabs. The line was long when I arrived but moved quickly. Good experience, thanks!

Extremely friendly, knowledgeable, professional staff.never had a bad experience here. always helped me above and beyond with my motor vehicle licensing needs.

Having a physical condition making it hard to walk, these folks are very friendly and helpful when I come in. I would drive 50 miles out of my way to come here as the staff here are very kind.

I'm giving 5 🌟 because they help so many in need. Although the last time I went one individual chucked a 50lb bag of onions through my rear window and could've caused damage to my vehicle. There was no damage thank goodness. His attitude was wrong. He walked away mumbling something. I did let another volunteer know. Her excuse didn't help the fact that this guy could have broken something.
This is the first time I've encountered a situation like this.

They offer so many great services here. When I got my Thanksgiving basket allot of things were expired and had to be thrown away. But I'm truly grateful for what I got. I would not have been able to have a Thanksgiving dinner with my family without their help.

Beats driving to lacey for DMV stuff.... The person who helped me was polite unprofessional and took care of everything I needed... zero complaints

We'll use them as much as I can versus going to the big DMV I walked in and I was instantly helped try that at your local state DMV....

While it can get busy quickly, the service at the counter is relatively quick. I pick up my online ordered vehicle tabs and Discovery Pass renewals annually.

Always professional and friendly. That's always nice when doing the errands you usually dread...like car tags! Lol

For a small town agency, the employees are quite helpful and informed. They always have a positive attitude.

I went to renew my License tabs for my car, because of the Covid19 they are processing your renewals or title transactions through a window. It is safe and efficient. There was a small line and folks were doing social distancing and wearing a mask. I really appreciated that my fellow neighbors in Yelm were being conscious of one another in that way. Also currently the License agency there is only accepting cash or check. So if you are reading this please bring your appropriate funds.
In conclusion I really appreciate the lady who is doing the License processing. She is so polite and courteous and professional.

I was there to renew the License Tabs for my truck. I like the agent, she is always very nice, professional, courteous and speedy. It's so nice and convenient to have a Lic. Agency here in Yelm !!

This place is kind of hidden and not noticeable from the road, but once inside I was delighted by no waiting, fast service, and a staff that was friendly and knowledgeable. It was nice to know I could handle renewing my registration right here in town and not have to go to a full blown, crowded DMV.
