Honestly-this is one review where I truly wish there was an option to give more than just 5 stars! Like so many others, I made the mistake of attempting to navigate my way through the Social Security Administrations Disability Application process on my own. How hard could it really be right?...Well to say that I was ill-equipped would be an understatement. The process is long, tedious and time consuming. Months of waiting resulted in the need for more information which turned into more months of waiting and the need for even more information. I was frustrated, overwhelmed and clearly in over my head. I decided to contact Bothwell & Hamill after seeing an ad for their services on the internet and I'm so glad that I did! The team at Bothwell & Hamill were amazing. Everyone was extremely polite, helpful and easy to talk to. Mr Bothwell definitely knows what it takes to get results on these cases. His no nonsense straight to the point approach may not always be the softest but it's effective. Thanks to his knowledge and experience, we were able to secure favorable results on my case in far less time than if I were to have continued to try to do it on my own. Mr. Bothwell & Terrie helped us with social security disability. First, I would like say that just applying SSID is a challenge, however, Mr. Bothwell will tell you if you have a good chance to receive your benefits. Then him & his staff will take care of all the paperwork that is needed. I would highly recommend having an attorney that knows what he's doing especially dealing with SSID. I had a pretty lengthy claim. Tim Hamill was so helpful all the years I dealt with L&I. He fought hard for me and this is a claim that origins was open for 2 years and then 8 more when we reopened it. Tim eventually won for me a pension. Great man (extremely knowledgeable) and great team backing him up.

With the help of Mr. Bothwell and his amazing assistant Shannon, I was able to get a favorable decision on my social security disability application. Even with as long as it took to work on my case, they stuck with it until we got the decision we needed.

I was hurt on the job back on November 8, 2019. L&l had cloced my case about 3 years later. I hired Mr. Hamill and his wonderful team right before L& I closed my case. Mr. Hamill and his team fought together to get my case reopened, and they fought to get me back on L&l. They fought for me to get my back pay for all the time that l was off L&l. I can't say enough good things about this team at Bothwell & Hamill! They were there for me every step of the way. I couldn't have done it without them! Soo empathetic and understanding. I didn't feel soo alone in this process. The assistant, shannon, was on top of everything and explained any questions I had along the way. Always there to listen and encourage me to not lose hope. If you're needing expert help in this social security process, you can depend on them to be there for you! They've got your back!!!

At the beginning you're just a chronically sick person who is unable to work and therefore haven't any money. After struggling on my own with no success I turned to a Legal Expert for help. Meeting with Thomas Bothwell for the first time settled all my worries. Mr. Bothwell took the time to go over all my medical evidence and that in his Professional opinion that I did have a winnable case and with my permission he would take my case. That was like being thrown a lifeline.
