I've been a resident of Downtown Wayne for about 9 years now, and I can't say enough good things about the Radnor Township police. They've always been kind, responsive and thoroughly respectful. Thank you for your hard work, everyone.

Needed a welfare check on my aunt, who I had been unable to reach in a couple of months (I live on the other side of the US). They dispatched an officer within 10 minutes and found her OK in her hom; just without a working phone. They even let me speak to her for a few moments. Very happy and thankful for such a prompt response.

I'm not very fond of some people on the force here in Radnor. I personally tgink that because crime rates are so low, they have nothing better to do but to pull people over for minor infractions. I value most on the force but there are those who simply try to meet the quota.

Who can forget when the Radnor police pull their gun out on a 12 year old kid for “looking suspicious”. I’ll never forget getting handcuffed and thrown in the back of a van after running away fro. my abusive home situation. Last but certainly not least, being removed from my home for not committing a SINGLE crime. The radnor police force cares only about what is at face value. Their job is not to protect the community, instead their job is to protect the rich, jewish, white people and remove the others. This one pace is a disgusting cesspool of wealthy spoiled children and rotten old folks that hate you for being looking or acting different. The police take that idea and run miles with it. They stuck up for a drunk ranting screaming woman instead of a scared shivering child who had never talked to a police officer before let alone been in the back of the car. If i could rate you all 0 i would in a heart beat. Having to pass by the Radnor police building everyday brings me back to 12 years old all the time. I hate it. And I hate this town.Moving here was a mistake and by the time i have kid, they’ll be as far from here as possible.

I was harassed last year by two of Radnors "Finest" officers. Officers Matijasich and Bates to be exact. All for walking a little late at night.I asked for their names and badge numbers(I was filming, probably one of the only reason I made it out safe), they refused to comply. I asked if I was being detained or free to go. No answer. I finally ended up giving them my ID,even though they could not articulate a crime I had committed. Technically violations of my rights. I ended up going to the station a few months later to complain to a supervisor. While the supervisor was nice, he was little help to me(He did however identify the two officers). I finally confronted one of the officers a year later at a festival in Wayne about a year later. Of course he wasn't so tough without his bully of a partner(he was called as 'backup") and acted pretty cowardly when I questioned, and confronted him about what happened. Sadly the RPD seems more intent on protecting these corrupt officers then respecting the constitution and peoples rights. Those two officers are also very lucky I didn't take them to court and have them stripped of their jobs.

Radnor PD did a firearm safety video. The intent was excellent, but the Lieutenant leading the presentation had horrible muzzle discipline. He is a poor role model as points the muzzle at himself and the other officer multiple times.

Rule 1 - ALWAYS keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction!

My first experience with police and already not on a good note and I wasn't even driving. Two Radnor police officers in a patrol car were so close to rear-ending my dad and I. So my dad who was driving turned around to make sure we wouldn't crash at the time we didn't know it was a cop car. We were going down a hill on the way too my school we missed the stop sign because the Radnor cops didn't give any following distance and my dad kept turning around because they were driving aggressively behind us as my dad was trying to prevent a car crash with them. Now as I'm told to study for my permit which every drivers ed book tells you to keep a following distance. How can I even take that seriously when cops can't even follow the basic rules. This experience has made me even more scared for when I start driving myself. Looking back on this experience I wish I was recording as proof as to what happened and to show my mom why I'm afraid to drive. I could care less about the fine what bothers me is this experience with the police has made me ten times more scared than I already was to drive.
