Do it Best Hardware of Wayne

Wow! I am amazed by the excellent customer service I received at this store. The staff was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to assist me in finding the screws I needed for my car. This is definitely the place you want to go to. They were willing to help, unlike the place I went to the day before. I see why the store is called Do It Best because they did just that and more.

UPDATE- just went back to get my fixed screen, they did a great job
also picked up more bird seed on sale.
they have SO much in their store.

I'm getting a screen fixed. I bought bird seed- they answered all my questions.
I wanted ice melt on sale there, one man went to the rear of store and brought two bags directly to my car, EVERYONE was helpful.

I'm new to the area, and wow am I glad Do it Best Hardware is now my local hardware store. The employees were so kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. The store is so well stocked, and full of small town charm.

Wayne is lucky to have one of the last true hardware stores in the area. The ownership & staff are incredibly helpful and always friendly. They have everything you need for jobs of all sizes as well as everyday necessities. Just walk in and they will guide you in the right direction. It’s always an enjoyable and productive experience when I make my weekly visit.

I thought this place would be overpriced like the rest of everything on the main line but I was pleasantly surprised. They have a large selection and prices are not bad. I am glad I didn't make the trip to the closest Home Depot that would have taken a lot longer and wouldn't have been worth it

These guys are the best, and every reason why small business can far exceed any service you will ever receive from a big box or online provider. They treated me like a customer they see weekly but it was only my second time visiting their store as I was visiting my daughter who lives in the area. I was needing a 10mm nut driver and they went above and beyond to get me what I needed. I am confident if you patronize this establishment you will not be disappointed. I wish I lived in the as I would definitely be a regular customer.

Forget Home Depot and Lowes if you live in Wayne, PA. THIS is the place to go. Been shopping here for over a year for SO many things- customer service is TOP-NOTCH. I LOVE the attention I get when I walk in the door. I manage a large property and am always in need of good advice for all sorts of things. ALL of the employees that work at Do It Best in Wayne are so knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to help with anything and I'm so grateful!!

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Huge selection. Felt like a small town hardware center in Midwest. Got A/C covers. Saw a rolling magnet on broom handle for picking up loose hardware.

The store doesn't seem that large, but they always seem to have what you need! The salespeople are friendly and knowledgeable; they would teach you to build a house if that's what you needed. Wayne is so lucky to have this place ❤

This place is great! Ideal local, neighborhood hardware store. I'm so glad I discovered this little gem, as opposed to the "big boys". Staff is friendly, attentive, and most importantly knowledgeable! Not to mention, you can find them in a second without a treasure map, binoculars and running shoes. Whether you walk in knowing exactly what you need, or simply with a rough idea of a project, you will walk out with what you need to get the job done.

We need to keep local businesses like this alive, otherwise all we will have left is big box stores, where many employees don't know how to change a lightbulb, and Amazon where you need to be a product expert yourself before ordering anything.

Recently had some keys cut here after multiple failed attempts by a self serve kiosk machine. It took them a quarter of the time to cut the keys and it was a quarter of the price of the machine - best of all they got it right the first time and the keys worked perfectly! Thanks guys!👍

Extremely helpful staff, had everything I needed including miscellaneous bolts, screws, and particular small spotlight bulbs for a small project. Rather than searching for someone to help like at larger 'big box' stores, multiple staff there made sure I had exactly what I needed. Excellent!
