JMS Home Remodeling

My wife and I met with 3 different contractors about our major home remodel. We wanted to replace all the siding, windows, gutters, front door, rear sliding door, and add a portico over the front door. JMS wasn't the cheapest quote, nor were they the most expensive, but Matt and Jim definitely made us feel the most comfortable with the scope of the project and how they would work with us through the entire process. And it was a process! They were very patient with us as we worked through the decisions, and in a few cases changed our decisions, on every aspect of the remodel. Communication and scheduling with them were easy, and all along they felt more like friends helping us rather than contractors. Their workers were absolutely professional and did extremely high-quality work. For the few small things that weren't quite right, they immediately acknowledged and fixed them. We could not have been happier from beginning to end. And our home looks amazing! We have had neighbors from up and down the street come up and tell us how wonderful everything looks. When we have future projects, and we probably will, Jim and Matt will be getting a call from us.

Feb-2024 I found myself in need of a new roof. After talking to my neighbors, 1) who had recently replaced their roof and couldn't recommend the company that did theirs because after 3 months they had an active leak. 2) another said the company they used left a bunch of trash in their yard. So I decided to put Google to the test since I use it all the time. I googled best roofers near me. After reading reviews I picked 5 that I was interested in. I narrowed the list down to 2 one of them being JMS. I had a 22 yr old roof that had a leak but no damage other than age, so my insurance company was no help. After interviewing the 2 companies I decided on JMS. Why? The presentation that Matt gave was professional. Since the company name said remodeling and I had to pay for it I decided to get some other stuff done. The list included new roof, new gutters, shutters and a new portico over my front door. They had several finance options for me to choose from which was nice. They were able to replace my roof in March. Which was great because March was a very wet month. Jim or Matt were available during the whole process and kept me up to date on all of the work. The shutters, gutters and portico was delayed due to the rain but I really appreciated the fact that they replaced the roof right away. They were very clean and neat. Even asked my neighbors to contact them if trash blew into their yards because there were some windy days. I can't recommend them enough. They even gave me a contact to repair the drywall in my dining room. These guys are great.

Jim, Matt, and the team were great to work with for my roof. They were not the cheapest nor the most expensive, but they were definitely the most communicative. I like to know as much as possible information for my projects and I reached out to Matt multiple times through the process and once even on a weekend, and he was very prompt with his responses. The guys that did the work did a fantastic job on the roof as well as clean up after. I would highly recommend JMS Home Remodeling.

Jim, Matt and their teams were an absolute pleasure to work with. I had confidence in them before our roof/fascia/soffit/gutter replacement, but their work exceeded my high expectations. From start to finish, they were easy to work with and super accommodating. I expect this is the last we will be working on our roof, but if we get another 1,000 year storm(no fault of theirs), we will be calling them again!!! They are highly recommended!

Working with the JMS team was great. They were a referral from friends. Matt and Jim were professional, helpful and quickly returned calls etc. They replaced our roof and shutters and did a great job. Everything was done well and on time. They kept the work area clean and did a great job with final cleanup. I would whole heartedly recommend them for any roofing job!

Extremely good company.. Matt and Jim are on top of all their projects. A month after completion and I’m still noticing all the little extra steps they do to make your project a success.

I found JMS through a search on Angi. Compared to the many other contacts that search yielded, Matt immediately struck me as both personable and extremely knowledgeable. Communication was always quick and straightforward, and JMS’s pricing was competitive as compared to other roofing companies. Once work began, the crew was on time and productive, finishing the entire project in a day. I highly recommend Matt, Jim, and the entire JMS crew.

I had JMS re-do my roof and they knocked it out of the park! I felt taken care of as an individual right from the get-go, and their team made every part of the process a breeze. The installation team was quick, efficient, and extremely professional.

I doubt I'll need them for any roofing issues anytime soon since the work was impeccable, but JMS Home Remodeling is first on my list for future projects! Also, for those who care, extremely veteran friendly!!

There were multiple facets to the job, including new roofing (both asphalt and metal), siding, demolition, and construction, and Matt and Jim managed the entire process efficiently and expeditiously, each step of the way. Every aspect of the final result exceeded our expectations. It was a pleasure working with them both, and we would gladly do it again.

I received multiple bids prior to making my selection. Making my decision I relied on price but most important who I felt most comfortable with. JMS immediately returned my calls and answered ALL my questions. Jim and Matt were very professional and I am very pleased with the quality of work and attention to detail. The workers were very polite and attentive to my needs. My roof and detached garage never looked better, including the gutters. At the end of the day my landscaping and yard were immaculate. I am so please with the results and happy I chose JMS Roofing as the contractor. I will definitely use them again in the future and recommend their services.

From initial contact to completion of job, we were kept informed. I love that they took photos of all our roofs inside & out, so we could see exactly what needed to be done. We discussed everything and they made very valid suggestions. We had a weather delay - thankfully they used good judgement and waited until all storms passed. Jim, Matt, and crew were professional at all times. Best of all - no clean up for us! The system they use to keep the property clean and clear of debris is phenomenal. I highly recommend JMS for your Home Remodeling.

HIGHLY recommend JMS! The owners, Jim and Matt were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Communication response was always immediate for any questions or concerns I had before, during and after the process of getting our new roof & gutters. Their crew led by Alex were true roofing professionals, very polite and hardworking. Their equipment was top notch as well. They even show up with a shiny new dumpster with a portable bathroom attached to it for their crew. They thought of everything. Cleanup was immaculate. Their price was right with all the other quotes we got, yet I feel we received a far superior job than most other contractors would have provided. Extremely pleased with our new roof!

The JMS team has done three roofs for our family now. All three times, they were extremely consistent- professional, prompt, and maintained excellent communication. Their work on site was very efficient- even our neighbors were impressed with their clean and efficient operations. Highly recommend these guys!!

My wife and I purchased our new home and were shopping around for a new roof. Matt and Jim won us over immediately. They were quick with responses, friendly and very professional. They installed an asphalt roof, metal roof and new gutters. We could not be happier with their finished product. I recommend these guys to anyone looking for some clean work done to their home. I’ve already mentioned to Matt that I will be contacting them in the future when we’re ready to build our front porch.

JMS did an excellent job. All of the people I dealt with weee polite, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. When it came time to clean up they left my house clean. Other than the new roof you would never know they were there. Would absolutely recommend them and have.

Matt and Jim helped us from the beginning to the end of the project to assure us that we were satisfied with the workmanship. The crew worked diligently paying attention to details, One person was dedicated to keeping the area around the house clean, and he did an excellent job. We definitely would recommend JMS.
