Trappe True Value

The gentlemen here are quite knowledgeable with things that you need. Every time I walk in they ask me right away what I need and give me the exact location. I never have to spend time wandering around trying to find it. This is an old-school hardware store with old-school customer service. These guys should be teaching the staff at Home Depot and Lowe's.

Sometimes I need a special screw or something else that I don't think I can find in an actual store and am surprised that they actually have it. Not only that, the employees actually know what I'm asking for and lead me right to it. They also have an all in one cabinet paint that makes your project turn out beautifully. Lastly, I received an unexpected act of kindness from them that meant the world to me and they have a customer for life now

Very helpful staff. They'll even tell you where to find something even if they don't sell it in their store. Love this place.

It was absolutely fantastic that have such a great shopping experience and a locally owned business. You cannot get the kind of professionalism from the big box chain stores that you get here at traps true value hardware store everyone is sensational and goes out of the way to help you find what you need.

So many options in this store, it’s slightly overwhelming (in a good way). The employees offered help when I looked lost and they were very friendly and helpful.

They have a great selection of quality outdoor furniture and accessories. The staff is very kind and helpful.

Steve at True Value assisted in fixing my hose that I bought from a big box store. He made sure the connection I needed worked and connected it to my hose. Him and his staff are very friendly and assist their customers to ensure they are satisfied with their purchases.

Been coming here for years, mostly for nuts & bolts lol. But they have a great selection of tools and products for any home project you need to tackle

Had to run in when on a job nearby. Greeted right away, offered assistance and they had what i needed (and a few goodies i didn't) This is what is awesome about local hardware stores v big box home improvement.

This place is the best!! Stumbled across it the other day and won’t be going anywhere else! The owner is the sweetest, they have everything, and it’s a beautiful clean store. I highly recommend it!! I’m so happy we found a hardware store we love💕

True Value has a nice selection of tid bits and useful unique items. I spent a good time looking around and didn't even see the whole place. It has a super nice, welcoming, Mom & Pop shop atmosphere- don't know about anyone else but I truly miss that!

Sharon (I believe) was especially helpful. She surely went out of her way to help with making a car key, wasn't as simple as it sounds. She even walked to my car to test it herself, which she didn't have to do. And I'm 34.. Coulda used the extra walk ;) The cashier was pretty knowledgeable too! They all were super nice.

Staff really wants to help, and are generally knowledgeable. If they don't know the answer they'll try get another employee in the store that knows or has experience. Friendly local place, gotta support these businesses to keep them staffed with helpful knowledgeable oleicole! Selection is limited, but it's not homedepot or lowes, so adjust your expectation. Usually have seasonal stuff on sale.

Need a worn down key made for my old Jeep. The lady helping me was great. An ace hardware told me my key was a transponder key(its not, they have some new fancy key machine) and even after I told them it was a standard 80's GM key, they still could help me. The one from Walmart wouldn't even fit in my ignition. I got 2 keys made here that worked better than my original one.

Great customer service and they have a little bit of everything for house hold fixes. I no longer go to home depot for paint, I come here! The paint is priced fairly.

They have a lot of unique things THERE. It is a little more expensive on some things than other stores. But it is nice, and the workers are helpful.

Always a pleasure to walk in here . Customer service is always friendly and knowledgeable. Great prices and always find something you won't in the bigger outlets.

Great store with very nice people working there...extremely helpful and pleasant. The store is well stocked and a much nicer place to shop than the big box stores.

Didn't have what I was looking for, but ordered it, and will be here in 3 days. Always a friendly places to visit and shop. Pop Corn machine is always a favorite too.
