I am commending the cashier in this rant and showing the distaste to the shoppers. People in line were complaining loudly. For what?! So the cashier could hear you? Did you want her to ignore everyone else and give you some sort of special treatment? You were all adults! What were you trying to accomplish? Not one single person in the world should think that they are better than the stranger standing next to them. To all of those who spewed negative and hurtful things, directing them towards the only employee within audible range, shame on you! Your minor inconvenience of waiting for 10 measly minutes instead of 3 minutes (for makeup!) had only caused the one person who was there to assist YOU feel the need to apologize as if she'd done something wrong. She should be thanked for showing up, doing her job to the best of her ability and recognized for handling the work of 3 people by herself. It's not her fault she was the only cashier. If customers want to throw a tissy because of wait times, maybe they should consider applying for a position instead of just applying makeup.

DJ was super sweet and helped me find products that worked on my skin type. I will definitely be coming back!

Had a GREAT makeup lesson with DJ! Clearly so passionate about makeup and teaching, plus able to recommend great quality products and $5 alternatives for others.

I wish I could give more!!! I had an appointment only to put strip lashes on with Mary, and she has asked “have you ever had your makeup done before” and I said “no but I wish I would’ve made an appointment to have my makeup done” she then offered to fit me in to do my makeup for my wedding day. She made me feel beautiful for the first time in a long time and helped make my day special. I can’t thank you enough Mary!

I could not have had a more wonderful experience than I did shopping here today. I went in looking for a new foundation, not feeling very confident in my ability to pick out the right one. One of the makeup artists, DJ, asked if I needed help and instead of just pointing me to one that would work, they helped me do a test run. The first one we tried was perfect, and they ended up offering to finish the application with concealer and blush! It was so simple, and yet I spent the rest of the day feeling so good about how I looked that I was sad about taking the makeup off at night! I left with a few tips, all of the products that were used, and some new confidence in my makeup journey thanks to their kindness!

Last week was the first time I ever stepped foot into an Ulta store. DJ at the MAC counter was so delightful and very helpful. I was very happy with the service and personalized attention, especially since my visit was very impromptu.

Yesterday I had appointment for my hair with Apryl M., she did great job. She worked so hard. Today more then 20 people asked from me place and name. Thank you Apryl

I'm sort of new to the makeup world. I've been a 'tomboy' most of my life but as I get older my interest in makeup and taking care of my skin and hair in general has become more important to me. So, I figured I'd go to a specialty store to get started. My mom goes to this store and so she recommended it and even went with me. I was very out of my depth and overwhelmed when I walked in. As we looked and talked I think the store associates picked up on this. They approached us and, without judging or making me feel uncomfortable, asked a series of questions about what exactly I wanted from makeup and hair care. They were able to recommend specific products and were conscious of my price range. They were very knowledgeable about the inventory too. They even provided me some samples of things I was unsure of so I could try it and reassured me I could exchange them if they didn't work for me. It was such a great customer service experience and they were so nice, polite and kind. I was honestly not expecting to have such an easy going time. They were friendly and helpful while not at all pushy. Needless to say, I will be shopping this store exclusively from here on out.

Joey is amazing! He was incredibly helpful. As a woman of color, I went into the store planning to do my own color match. Not only did Joey assist me in locating the specific Mac foundation that I currently use, but within seconds after looking at my skin, he identified my exact shade! Thank you, Joey!

Thank Ulta for allowing Bailey to shop with me on my travel back to New York. Your store TEAM was AWESOME!

Today I went to a different salon for Lilac Frost highlights and literally came out looking like the Grimace... my entire head was purple.
I went to the desk at the Ulta Salon to ask for assistance with finding a product to fade ..or take out the color. They immediately said they could help me and spent the next 30 minutes making me look human again. I believe the stylist was Nicole and there was another more experienced stylist helping her out..
I would totally recommend this salon!!!

Great place overall. Employees are kind & eager to help. They offer a wide variety of brands & products, with varying prices that make health & beauty more accessible without sacrificing quality. My favorite positive aspect is, without a doubt, the fact that they have an extremely understanding & fair return policy, so you'll never have to worry about buyer's regret. Check it out if you have the time, for sure!

I like going here to get my hair done. They do a professional job. They have great Customer Service. They talk to you and make you feel special.

The lady that did my make up and helped me find everything was AMAZING!! Everyone looks so cute for Halloween today, and they were all so helpful. Wonderful store and wonderful artists. Will definitely be back again.

I've been going to this Ulta for years and have always had a good shopping experience. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I wear makeup most every day but honestly don't know much about the high end stuff and I never feel stupid asking questions. I wanted to write a review specifically about today, the Lancome specialist and sales rep Hunter helped me today and he was awesome! He caught me failing at color matching foundation and sat me down in a chair, wiped out his brushes like swords and fixed me right up! He was so friendly and fun! Thanks hunter!

Staff was very helpful. Unfortunately the items I was interested in are not carried in the store. They're available on line only. That was the whole point of going to the store today. I avoid on line purchases as much as possible due to delivery delays and items arriving damaged. Too much hassle

On Saturday June 10th I entered your store for the first time. I was interested in having a smokey eye done and was just trying to find out who to go to. Three of your employees made me feel as though I was a nuisance and that they didn't have time to do a smokey eye or help me find what I needed. I was getting frustrated and about to leave when one of your dear employees stepped away from what she was doing and offered a helping hand. Randi Fox did a full face of makeup for me and I could not have been any happier then what I was leaving your store. She was extremely personable and went above and beyond to help me find what I was looking for and get me ready for my photo shoot! Randi thank you for your excellent customer service! Your generosity did not go unnoticed!

Michelle in the prestige department was fantastic. I had my almost 2 year old with me and Michelle set her up with her own chair and provided crayons and a coloring book while I expired different foundation options. When my toddler wanted to me just like mom, Michelle gave her a clean set of makeup brushes to play with. Exceptional customer service and I left with a happy toddler and all the products I needed.

Kim was amazing! She was so friendly and personable. The atmosphere was great! I reschedule with her and can’t wait! Great staff!

Phenomenal staff that will stop and ask if you need any help, since they carry a large variety of Beauty Supplies. Staff, where I would like to recognize Sydney, Becki, and Tara, also offer to show you how to apply a certain type of make up using whichever accessories. Also, they have & offer Hair Styling at there in store salon where I might add the ladies at the Benefit Cosmetics bar are on pointe with fixing up crazy eyebrows. Everyone there is a great asset to the Beauty Industry!
