If you want a really nice pair of running shoes and lots of options with great service I highly recommend this place. I am a beginner runner and didn't know where to start and Gram helped me try on multiple pairs didn't feel rush and he let me jog on the sidewalk to truly feel how the shoes would feel while running. Other places don't compare to the time they take to make sure you have the right shoes for what you need.

I'm normally too anxious to go shopping in person, but Vaux is the best place in town for shoe shopping! The staff is genuinely so kind and help explain the pros and cons of every shoe. Every time I've gone in there, I'm presented with kind, caring, and proactive staff who are eager to help, but not trying to sell you stuff like Ulta or Sephora or something. I enjoy visting Vaux and supporting such an amazing local store.

What a great store!! I went in told them I'm a Professional pet sitter/dog walker and I have sore feet. They helped me pick out the perfect sandals my feet quit hurting. Prices were great and wonderful service!

I hung out and listened to my wife’s interactions with the salesman. It was great having a fellow Boston Marathon runner answering her questions instead of some min wage kid that knows far less about running than her. I’m sure she will be back!

I Needed good shoes that fit my wide feet, And they found some good shoes to fit my feet. The staff was friendly, They carry a large stock of shoes that no one else in town have. I would but wide Hoka shoes if they had them.
This is my go to place, the good feet store shoes were expensive, and didn’t last long, so they were not worth the money I paid.

I called Vaux shoe store yesterday inquiring about special shoes. The young man there helped us with our request. He knows everything about the shoes so he was very helpful. The staff was friendly and the merchandise is current. Nice selection of sales items. If you want quality shoes and great service, I have to recommend this store. They have top running shoes and birkenstock.

Fantastic customer service. Each time I have gone in there has been other customers, but wait time is minimal. One on one help to measure my funky shaped feet and get me in shoes that are stylish and comfortable. They also have high quality inserts, socks, and shoe laces for your existing footwear. Highly recommended.

This is the place to go for high quality comfort shoes. They have sandals, heels and boots in both casual and dressy styles. They are very amenable and helpful. My mother had two very different sized feet, and they special-ordered shoes for her. I love this place!

Well I went there to see if care safty toe work boots. But they didn't. But they sent me to a store that I can get a great pair of work boots. After I got my new boots. I went right back to VAUX SHOES to get some amazing insoles for my boots. Very amazing store.

Super helpful finding footbed, doc said I needed new shoes, they insisted just trying footbeds and not pressuring me into buying 150+ $ shoes.

This is my favorite place to buy shoes in Yakima. Great selection for both comfort and running shoes. It is also the only true running store in the city with people who understand how to fit shoes for what you need. One of the best family run businesses in the city.

Vaux owner Brad went above and beyond the call of duty to get my Naot shoes onto my happy feet. I have a common shoe size and unfortunately he was out of stock in the color I loved best. What did he do? Had the shoes shipped directly to my home with zero hassle. It was amazing! Awesome to have local businesses with stellar service; makes the choice to shop local an easy one.

Went in a couple months ago and got 2 pairs of shoes, wonderful selection and great service! Woke up this morning thinking I need a new pair of shoes, so, needless to say this was the first place that popped into my mind!! Will be going there today!!

The staff here saw a need, and filled a need in the Yakima Valley. They help you pickout the right shoe for you, taking the time needed, and not trying to force the most expensive one. I was really impressed with the level of their service.
