Daniel's Kitchen

I’ve avoided this place for a year because it never looks like there are customers. Found out today the parking is mostly in back. I’m glad I decided to try it today because it’s a wonderful place! Super clean with a quaint atmosphere and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The separate bar area looks like a perfect place to watch a game on the TVs. We had a Big Boss burger and a taco salad. The burger has bacon AND ham. It was a lot of food but so tasty. The taco salad is served in a warm puffy taco shell.
Waitstaff is friendly and perfectly attentive, you can tell they have good training and it matters to the management. We will definitely be back soon.

My husband and I go here about once a month and we've never had a bad meal. The country fried steak is the best I've ever had! Their hashbrowns are ALWAYS nice and crispy without being greasy.
My husband has ordered the French toast, pancakes and their fish and chips and loves the food. The burgers and fries are excellent too, the fries are hot and crispy. Just the way we like them.
The service is the best. Beatriz is very sweet.
BEST breakfast in Yakima area!

Our server was awesome, attentive, and super friendly. We were seated quickly. Ordered a chicken bacon Cobb salad and the chicken fried steak. Food was delicious and fresh. Restaurant was clean and inviting. Prices were fair and portions were large.

The food is very delicious! The omelette and steak were great and hit the spot! Fast and great friendly service! They also have an awesome Burger Box Special 6 Bacon Cheeseburgers, fries with fry sauce and a 2 liter soda $25.99!!! We ate two burgers because we couldn’t wait!

We had a great time/meal at Daniels! Called last minute the day before Thanksgiving to reserve their private room on Sunday! They were very accommodating, the room was private and setup before we got there! There were about 15 of us and they managed the event very well. Wide menu options for everyone, food was out timely, and tasted awesome! Server came around often enough to make sure everyone was topped off on drinks and taken care of!

This restaurant is very spacious. I like that it is old, but clean. The delicious meals are large in portion (may want to split). The staff are prompt and very nice. We will be back! Hats off to this restaurant!

The food was delicious. A favorite spot for the locals. The burgers and French dip were outstanding. The food was piping hot. The fries were crispy and tasty. Alondra waited on us and she was a sweetheart. Plenty of parking. We stopped here on our road trip and we're glad we did. Super job!

This is a hidden gem! It's quiet the food is great and reasonably priced. My favorite is the country fried chicken and the bacon. I cry every time someone gives me floppy soggy bacon, but Daniel's Kitchen has the best crispy bacon and FARM FRESH EGGS!! I got a double yolk! I grew up on farm raised eggs, and they have the best taste! No place in Selah or Yakima can compare to Daniel's Kitchen.

We met with the Lutheran Hour Ministries board for lunch. We had a very nice private room. Service was excellent. The menu was varied and offered many options. Very affordable and delicious.

Chris and I went here for a late dinner date. I got breakfast since they serve it all day. Everything was great. The gentleman that served us was hospitable and was great at making sure we got refills before we ran out of our drinks.

It was a laid back kind of place. Food was tasty.

Went there for the first time the other night. Ordered the burger box. You get 6 huge bacon burgers, a two liter of soda and a ton of fries. It’s an excellent deal. Customer service is excellent as well. Definitely give it a try next time you need a quick, easy, and good dinner you can just grab on your way home.

Was staying at an Airbnb in the area to fish the Yakima River Canyon. Went looking for a hearty, old school breakfast and this place delivered in spades! Perfect hashbrowns, pancakes and omelet. Server was friendly and attentive and the kitchen was very speedy. I was the only customer there around 9am, though, which puzzled me. The streets around it were all closed and under construction, so maybe that explains it.

Food, service and environment is exceptionally great!

Well let's see when I walked in the waitress greeted me far away but that's okay she's probably busy and it was morning went to the bathroom it was clean. Set down waitress came over told her I have a hard time reading she helped me order you build your own breakfast

Egg almonds with sausage and cheese hash brown and toast and coffee coffee was hot but it tasted bland that's okay a little bit of sugar maybe not supposed to but I did
Ate my meal enjoy my time got two cups of coffee out of it it cost.

I guess if you want to set down enjoy a meal it's going to cost just a little bit more nowadays but a little time out of the house it's okay if you want to go somewhere quiet this is another one of them I enjoyed it

I order a side of onion rings six of them is all you get and if you divide it it was $0.95 a piece that was a little shocking coffee kept dry up

Service not so much but I still tip her anyways Nobody's perfect
But I still enjoy my Second visit there

Food is always good here. Waitresses were very attentive.

I had the waffle special and it was like eating a deep fried donut. It was phenomenal! We went around 5pm on a Friday and I can’t believe for how good the food was how empty the place was. Incredible food, excellent service, 11/10 would recommend. A seriously hidden jewel in Selah apparently.

From the moment you walk in Daniel's Kitchen has a small town feel. Very comfy with very nice and inviting employees. The delicious aroma of small flowing out of the kitchen are amazing and leave you pondering what you want to eat. As you sit down and open the menu, you begin to think, "How am I going to make a decision?" You can choose anything from breakfast wrap to prime rib to prawns. I chose the "Farmer's Supreme" half order for $6.95. This I chose a pancake to have as a side. Every bit of it was delicious. I would highly suggest this place to everyone. The price is amazing and the amount you get for a half serving will fill you up. A full order comes on a larger plate with a lot more at $9.95. All in all, this place was amazing and very right for a small budget. Bathrooms were clean, modernized and smaller great. This on the favorites list and will definitely return again soon.

Every time I've dined at Daniel's I've been impressed with the cook and the servers. It's not high dining - good old fashioned American food in a building built to be reminiscent of mines (it was originally named Selah Mining Company). Atmosphere nothing to write home about, but really good food. If you are a seafood lover try the King Crab breakfast burrito. To die for.

This is a great place for a bite to eat! I came in about 9 am Sunday July 7th and was greeted with a good morning and lots of smiles. It wasn’t very busy and that ensured quick and friendly service, I’m a server myself so I have high standards when going out. I got the country fried steak and everything was amazing! I didn’t get my servers name (Edit to add: her name was Emma) but she was a younger blonde with glasses and super sweet. Don’t hesitate to try this place out! I’m excited to come back and try out the lunch menu!
