Modern Millwork

My company uses Modern Millwork on all of my remodel and new construction projects. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They work with many vendors so they are able to work within most any budget. I highly recommend using them for your millwork needs!

From the first moment we walked into the store, Brittney was attentive, helpful, and very knowledgeable about our proposed project. She steered us in the right direction hardware-wise, and was meticulous about all of the required measurements. The doors were installed without a hitch thanks to the contractor's expertise. Contacted Modern Millwork to plane and true a lark plank ( 5" thick 28" wide 8'4" long) for a work bench counter top. The guys jumped on it and completed the task in one day. great job, customer Service and affordable.

Overall, I was disappointed with my experience here. I ordered doors and frames for an upgrade, and it took six months for the job to be completed. First, when the doors were delivered, 2 had frames that were way off square, and 1 door had a large defect in the middle. A few of them were damaged during delivery as well. After sending the frame rejects back, it took several weeks for the new ones to be delivered. Unfortunately, they were sent back because of the frames being out of square again. The door with the defect in the middle took 4 months to replace. There must be a serious lack of quality control here, as the problems should have been corrected before being delivered. Won’t use this company again.

Estimator didn't follow through after coming out to do an estimate. The don't make the windows, some other company does out of Spokane. Didn't have warranty information. They use some other local contactors to do the installation, so if something goes wrong, the "which of the three responsibility game" is a possibility. Didn't provide any brochures about the glass warranty or effective insulation capabilities. Didn't know anything about the windows I had or why two-pane was still cold. Said they sold good, better, and best glass.
