Merry Place

A beautiful peaceful place. Took my grandson he rode is bike i walked down to west Chester pike on a very scenic trail along the creek. "Great place to skip stones" came back and played on the train,played in the fort, and made rodes in the volley ball pit with his construction trucks.

Great park! They have a playground, a skate park, tennis courts, volleyball courts, a gazebo, and walking paths. It's located right next to Darby Creek Trail.

I really like the trail by the creek, sometimes you wanna get outdoors but you don't want to hike a 10 mile trail, and the 1mile wooded trail by the creek is perfect for an immersive escape and morning walk, its a real gem!
If your new to the area swing by the Taqueria, El Limon, for lunch under the Gazebo and take in this Amazing Park!

I love this park! It’s perfect for my 2 year old. He loves playing on the playground equipment, in the sandbox area, and running around on the wooden play area. It’s really cool that they have a skatepark, tennis court, a giant gazebo with picnic tables, a volleyball net, AND a tiny library cubby where you can give/take books! The public restroom is also a plus! There’s a nice paved hiking trail as well, and plenty of parking.

This park is fantastic! The paved trail is fantastic for family walks. My kids adore the swings and sandbox. Although the structure is old, little toddlers will like it. My husband and I both enjoy playing tennis, and when the skate park area is unoccupied, I allow my young children to bring their trucks inside, which makes them very happy.

Nice park. Has a cool little nature trail in the front right side that follows the creek. It also has a small playground and some swings, as well as restrooms (not porta potties).

Nice playground. Lots of shade and stuff for kids all ages. Right near the trailhead for Darby Creek Trail. Public bathroom. Just a lot to like and easy to spend a lot of time on good weather days as long as you bring snacks.

Great trail for walking it's only about a mile each way though

There’s a nice path by a creek for walking or riding a bicycle. There are benches to sit and enjoy the view.

We love this park! The paved trail is awesome for walking with kids. My kids love the sandbox and swings. The play structure is dated but good for young toddlers. My husband and I also love the tennis courts and when the skate park area is empty I let my little kids bring their trucks inside and they love it.

Such a nice place. Clean parks Crystal clear waters. Something for everyone here.

I grew up here before they fancied it up and I didnt like the new paved path and a couple other stuff they did at first, but now having kids and my dogs I totally see why they did it. It is a great leisurely walk and a few hidden wooded trails that still give you a real nature hike feeling. Just make sure you have a good leash for you dogs (as well as your dogs being well socialized with people and other dogs) because some people arent as like minded. It really is a nice place to spend a few hours if you pack a light lunch.

Gorgeous park, tons of fun things for children of all ages. Skate park there enclosed in fence. Volleyball court, trail with a creek, small jungle gym for younger kids, large jungle gym for older kids. A neat wooden bridge. Very nice large gazebo with lots of picnic tables. Restroom here too

Good parking and if traveling is fairly close to 476. Decent amount of benches around. Good spot for both toddlers and older kids. Good place to bring bikes, sand toys, field games. Nearby paved trail. Kids cannot easily run into road. Bring baby powder to get sand off hands. Not the most obvious entrance from Glendale road.

A great 1 mile straight walking trail along a creek. It's used quite a bit, but plenty of walking room. There's a few benches along the path to sit and read, or listen to the creek. Very safe feeling since it's a wide walk way.

Great park and playground along the Darby Creek. Recently added mile long paved path is really nice for a stroll along the creek. Wish people would respect this little gem a bit more and not dump their beer and soda cans all over the park, there are plenty of recycle bins all over the park.

Very nice park. Much to do. Lightly used. Great for kids it's fenced in. Open restrooms too.

Nice clean park with plenty of activity for the kids and a nice trail to walk on. The addition of a skate park is good since there isn't many other places for the kids to skateboard.

Fun park with a playground, wooden fort for kids to play on, a small skateboard park, lots of picnic tables, and a paved walking trail. Not crowded. Great place for a quiet weekend outing with the family.
