El Tesoro Mexican Bar

It's been very frustrating trying to find a decent Mexican restaurant in the area so on a whim we stopped at El Tesoro to try it out. I would give this place a 3.5 stars out of 5 on the authenticity scale but honestly the best Mexican food I have found in the area. Although not completely authentic, their food was really good. I had their vegetarian tacos with rice and beans and I found it all delicious. Their chips and salsa was also good. I did need to wait until the hostess was done texting before I was seated but the waitress was exceptional. I will be planning future visits.

This is the best Mexican food I've had since I left Arizona six years ago!!!

Ordered the California burrito and wife ordered the chili relleno and not only was the food out in just 10 minutes, it's the best Mexican we found in Pennsylvania!
Staff was on top of anything and everything we needed.

Sea food burrito it was amazing. No long wait. Margarita 🍹 had real strawberry in it. Coming back again. Red Bowl Fajita was a good choice, my wife said.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Indiana. The food is always amazing.. I have tried quite a few different things now, and it’s all been great!

What a gem of a Mexican restaurant! Beautiful interior with indoor and outdoor seating. Very clean with a fantastic ambiance. The food was excellent. I can’t say that the food was any better than El Jalisco’s, but that is one of my personal favorites. The interior was head and shoulders above El Jalisco’s. The peach Margarita was fantastic and they have several great lunch specials. The street tacos were very good and had excellent presentation!

The food was good, the pricing was very fair for the portions that you get, and the service was good. It would definitely recommend it if you are in the area of Indiana Pennsylvania and like Mexican food.

Our party of 6 adults ate for $85.06 and we all left full.....2 of us with to-go boxes. Food was fresh and great. Service was good. Will DEFINITELY be back.

One of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to. The staff is nice, very good service, and most importantly the food is phenomenal. If you're looking for quality, authentic Mexican food this is the place to go. Really looking forward to El Tésoro becoming one of the most popular restaurants in Indiana.

Stopped in tonight. Food was great, reasonably priced and tasty. Had tacos and they were filled to the top with meat and toppings. Loved the tacos, several to choose from. Give it a try, I don’t think you will be disappointed The California Burrito speaks for itself!

The refreshing mango guacamole had a nice balance of sweet, spicy, and savory.
I got a great seat for my meal, right by the window! I would recommend sitting there, too, if you could, and soaking in the outside breeze with the convenience of still being under their roof.

The tacos de asada were not only delicious, but the presentation was beautiful on the plate. Attentive and friendly waitstaff!! Overall a great dining experience!

Ordered to go but next time I'm dining in. Food here tastes so fresh and has amazing flavor without all the salt. Service is friendly and fast. Clean beautiful appearance inside and out.

Such great food! Try the chimichonga cheesecake...you won't be disappointed.

Great Mexican food! The balcony above the restaurant provides a nice view of Philly Street while you dine. They are connected to a local brewery new to Indiana, Voodoo Brewery, and their beers are on tap. The tacos were awesome! Their portion sizes are large. I really recommend their pineapple bowls, they perfectly char the meat and veggies. I'll be returning for sure!

Visited for the first time today as part of a group lunch. Everyone's dishes looked so wondeful. I really enjoyed my meal and the NA margarita. All the staff that we got to meet and Luke were all great. I'll definately be back soon I hope.

I lived in AZ for 25 years and have missed good Mexican food since moving to PA. 6 of us visited on Friday night. Lots of people there, service was still good, though. My Carne Asada had good flavor and everyone else in the party enjoyed there dishes. Will definitely go again.
