Franz's Tavern

Friendly atmosphere with amazing people and even amazing-er food. The staff is fabulous, kind, and quick to attend to you. Food was priced more than fairly for high quality and large portions. I enjoyed my experience and I will come back often. Thank you, Belinda, for your gracious hospitality! 10/10 recommend to anyone local or people visiting the area.

Ok I got a chance to visit Franz tavern on south 5th Avenue and my wife and I were impressed 🤩 we both had the Philly cheesesteak and shared an order of fries with ice tea let me tell ya mmmmm🤗delicious, im not a big fan with the cheese on the top BUT, this really worked because the bun was just right, and most important you have a cup of sauce to dip, now I'm a tough sob so I'm just being straight, you all wanted to know, to wrap it up the customer service from Shea was awesome so we're going back and I want to see ya there 🥸

The food was outstanding and the employees made the experience very enjoyable

Ate there for the first time last week and wanted to go back the very next week. Had the prime rib the first time. It was delicious. 2nd week had the Tavern burger. Had the 1/2 pound burger(I think their scale is broken because it was a lot bigger then 1/2 pound). It was perfect. Wait staff were very nice. Pace of meal was slowed a little bit but it's slow everywhere (complainers get used to this, this is the new normal, give service people a break, they work hard for you). We look forward to next time, and there will be one. Thanks for the great meal.

Absolutely love this place. The food is phenomenal. Just a little heads up it takes a little bit to get your food because each plate is made fresh. I personally don't mind waiting for good food.

This place was excellent. Service was great. The food was fresh and cooked to perfection, from the buffalo wings to the crab cakes and the ice cold draft beers. This was our first time trying this restaurant and the staff was welcoming and the hospitality was great. House made dressings and sauces. Soups are all homemade...really what else is there to say. Ty for the great evening Franz's.

Very friendly bartenders and the owners are awesome as well. Even if it's your first time they will surely make you feel at home. On the weekend I was there, the owner even made pizza and wings and he set them out for everyone to have. The food was delicious! Also the drink prices are very cheap and reasonable. Tip your bartenders, they deserve it ;)

I love coming to this bar. Every time I come here the food is always on point. This is the first time I came here and got a salad. Normally I get a cheesesteak because they are 🤌perfect. Made just how I like them. But this time I was feeling a salad.
I got the chicken Cesar salad 🥗 the one thing that it was missing was croutons. But other than that it was great. It had the right amount of salad dressing and the right amount of chicken. I even have enough to take some home to eat for the next day.

Warm, friendly and down to earth homey! Best crab cake I’ve ever had. Period. Thanks to Kyle and Michelle I met recently who recommended the place. It’s really fun to go to a local establishment and meet some of the people who frequent the establishment. This place is one of the reasons why I avoid chain restaurants at all cost!

Very friendly service. Excellent food. Not your typical bar fare. Yes there are burgers and fries but also seafood and filet mignon. I had the seafood bake (crab? Scallops, and shrimp). They make their own bread and garlic butter to spread on it. Or you can go with plain butter. Bingo on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

This is a hidden gem, crab cake casserole was cooked to perfection. My wife had crusted Cod that was like eating heaven. My stepson had chicken alfredo which looked amazing, and he said it was great. Peaceful bar ambience with amazing culinary expertise in the kitchen. A win- win for everybody!

Small bar / restaurant with great food and big portions. Troy is a fantastic chef and all the staff and patrons are friendly. This is my dad's home away from home and we usually go out to eat here when I come up from Baltimore for to visit him. Heads up: Closed on Sunday and only "bar food" (e.g. wings, fries, etc) served on Mondays. Call ahead for a reservation because some days it gets busy (they may even close on occasion for a big party special event).

I had to come back. The quality of the food was unexpected and awesome, and the locals knew it. An old tavern situated in a farm area. Perfect.

Had a family dinner here to celebrate my birthday the other day, our waitress was very friendly even with the restaurant being short staffed (seems to be a lot of that going around…). Food was good, and I enjoyed myself. I’ll be back!

This place is very interesting. Passing by on the road you would have no clue...and you would lose out big time. This guy knows food. He knows execution. Eclectic in Lebanon is not am easy find. We drive a half hour to eat here. We are never let down. The fact that the chef puts out the food he does from the size kitchen he has is unreal. I'm not exactly easy to please and this place never, ever let's you down. I don't usually rave about a place, but someone needs to call Guy!

Its been awhile since I've been in over a year but only because my fiance was sick and passed a year ago November 19th and that was a place we went all of the time since it was right down the street from where we lived. So I went on that day and as usual it was wonderful. Thank you Todd, Belinda and Troy the food was awesome and if course our bartender/waitress who I didn't get her name thanks

This place is awesome! Food is great, the people who work here are dedicated, hard working, and care about their customers! We come every week and the staff is like family.
