Sy's Pizza and Subs, Home, Pa.

First time eating at sys tonight. It was really good. The staff were all super friendly and the pizza and bread sticks were the best I have ever eaten! We will definitely be making more stops here when we travel!

Whole wings are fantastic!!!

I'm not from this area, but stopped by Sy's for lunch one day when traveling between job sites from Marion Center to Apollo; it was a Monday and there were very few options to choose from. I wasn't expecting much; my intention was to just order a pretty standard sub when I noticed that they had full wings on the menu.

I ordered ten whole wings in two different sauces: "Buttery Garlic with Sy's Seasoning (GI)" and "Sweet Hot". I also ordered a small "Pizza Fry" even though I knew I wouldn't have any hope of finishing it. The lady working the counter told me that the wings would take 24 minutes and that she would bring the food out to me when it was ready.

The dining room is large, comfortable and pretty clean. If I were to nitpick it at all, I would recommend removing the old carpet and going with any kind of hard flooring that can be mopped. I just don't trust carpet in a restaurant.

Anyways, I grabbed a seat and did some work from my laptop while I waited. The pizza fries came out first. They were good, there was plenty of sauce and provolone mixed throughout. The fries did get a little bit soggy, but overall, I liked them and would get again.

A little while later, the wings came out and they looked amazing. There isn't any discernable breading; they are either totally naked or have an extremely thin coating, then tossed liberally in sauce and seasoning. Unbelievable. Some of the prettiest wings I have photographed.

The taste was everything that you could ever hope for. Perfect crunch on the outside (not too hard, but also not soggy or gummy) and perfectly tender on the inside. In between bursts of wing flavor, all I could think is, "Oh my god. Why is this place so far from my house?"

If you like wings, especially whole wings, you really need to give this place a shot, even if it's a little bit out of the way.

PS: I review many wing places in Western PA. Consider giving me a follow if you like wings as much as I do.

Food is pretty good, people are great. The way you order is different from a traditional restaurant.

Really recommend their Rodeo Sub. It's a chicken Philly sub with BBQ sauce and bacon on it.
And their chicken salads are big.

Their pizza log bites and mozzarella sticks are realllllllly good as well.

Food is always excellent regardless of what I order. Pizza & wings r my fav but I frequently have a wrap. Even tried a fish dinner. Service is good & staff is friendly. Take out or dine in. Equally good.

I always enjoy taking my family to this restaurant. The food is great for people who are awesome. What more could you ask for in a restaurant?

It name says pizza and subs ,but it's a whole lot more . We had batter fried fish and fries coleslaw. Reasonable price. Different specials everyday . You order up front . Then they serve it to you at your table or booth .

Delicious burgers and fries. I hope to stop again to have the opportunity to try some of the other offerings.

I start a lon class across the way of this place went to check the school out and stopped in for food.
Will say hands down amazing food and service.

We get take out there fairly often. It is always good. We had an Italian sub and onion rings tonight. Both were very good. Orders are always correct and ready on time.

Live right around the bend, always order wings and pizza, reminds me so much of the old rayne drop restaurant. Staff is mostly high school/ college kids, very friendly, the food is always good, and sometimes perfect. Great selection of wing flavors. Only complaint is that I wish they'd have frog legs.

Absolutely one of Indiana County's best as establishment's.
Full assortment of dinner, pizza, Subs, desert.
Great atmosphere.
One of the largest variety of wings and appetizers.
Definitely worth the drive to Home Station.
Right on U.S. 119 north of Indiana pa.

The Stromboli was awesome! Wings that were to go home got eaten before they had the chance to leave the restaurant. The employees were all very friendly and helpful. Thanks, Sy's for a nice evening.

The staff is super friendly and the food is amazing. I ordered the peanut butter and jelly wings and was amazed at the flavor and crispiness of the wings! I would definitely recommend trying at least a half dozen!

We love the dinning room and how the space is separate from the main entrance. Very cozy very clean 👍
