Woody's Bar-B-Q

So I met Ashley today the bartender was very pleased how clean the bar and restaurant is kept. She was very friendly and not one of those people that hovers around you when you eat. The ranch dressing is homemade and has great flavor. The wings are bigger than most restaurants with a smoked flavor and juicy! Definitely recommend a stop here for a meal

I didn't expect to find such authentic BBQ flavors in Pennsylvania. Everything we had was amazing. Juicy meat cooked to perfection, awesome sides, and lots of variety. The meat fell off the bone, and the sauce is the best I've ever had. We bought a pint to take home. We also couldn't resist a sky high pie, which we took home to eat later. Rich chocolate filling was a winner! Thanks to all the friendly and helpful staff for making this the first of many visits sure to come in the future.

I hate to give a 1 star review... especially when we never got a chance to try the food! Four of us came in on Saturday around 1pm and the sign said "wait to be seated" so we waited for about 10 minutes and then sat ourselves at a table in site of the bartender. There was only about 4 other tables with people at them and maybe ½ dozen people sitting at the bar. No one came to our table even though the bartender made eye contact with us several times. She did eventually go to another table, not sure if she was taking their order or getting their check.... but she walked on by us without a word. After 20 minutes at the table we got up to leave and then she came over and said she was short handed & could take our order after she got a few drinks for people at the bar. Another girl was going to help her out... but she went out side for something so we decided to leave. We figured if it took that long to get service it would be a long wait for our meals. So we decided to give it another shot and came back Tuesday around 6:30 PM and walked in and the place was empty. We asked the bartender if we could sit anywhere and she said they were closing early... because they were slow! It's not that close for us to get to so it's a little disturbing that we made 2 attempts and never even got to try the food.... I hear the BBQ is very good. Kelly's and Hoss's got our business on those 2 failed attempts at Woody's.

So the 4 of us came back to give it one more try on Thur afternoon. Ashlee was our waitress and she was fantastic... she gets an A+, her attitude and service was awesome. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The ladies both had Carolina pulled pork and margaritas and loved it all...wi was so good they both got a second meal to go!
I had the trio of tacos, beef brisket, pulled pork, and mesquite chicken. 3 Huge tacos that were loaded and tasty... I think my favorite was the beef brisket taco.... the baked beans were killer too! My buddy had the ribs and said they were delicious...lots of meat on them and he couldn't finish it all so he had to take some home. We all had the coconut custard pie for desert and it too was very very good...huge slices that each couple shared. Did I mention our waitress Ashlee... She was phenomenal!
I'm glad we gave it another try and we'll definitely be back next time we're in town.

Excellent quality of service and food. My first time in the Huntingdon area and everyone I came across advise me to try Woody's. After coming here today, I understand why. Very nice moist meat. We had ordered the grilled chicken dinner, grilled prime rib dinner, boneless wings and super sampler. All items were winners. We enjoyed the sauces that accompany all our entrees. From the super sampler platter....the onion rings, corn nuggets and fried okra were the highlights of our appetizers. Yum yum! If I am in the area again....would come back just for that!

Woody’s is a top-notch restaurant! Service is always with a smile. Food is great quality and quantity for the price! The atmosphere is relaxing, and the bar area is classy! Keep up the good work!

We go a couple times a year when we're at my in law's cabin. It's my son's favorite BBQ place. I personally think they have some of the best coleslaw ever!! Great appetizer selection. Everything we've ever ordered has been very good!! Staff is always friendly and attentive. We really like it here!!

Food was excellent, service was good. First time we have been there. Definitely go back. Best thing in Huntingdon I believe, nice job!!!!

On Oct. 15th
I had a very high standard for this place, but today WOW.. this place dropped the ball for breakfast..
The service was great.. BUT our food had a lot of w.t.f.
1. Pancakes had a taste of brisket.
So, the Griddle was not clean
2. My Texas toast had ALOT of butter to hide how stale it was
3. Smoked Sausage.. WELL, I was looking for that flavor..

Best bbq ever and I been everywhere man. So good that we were disappointed that we didn't get a couple of full racks to go and have it cold the next day. Waiter was good, salad good, baked beans were just ok but the rack and a half of ribs was THE best ever. E.V.E.R. I took the pictures so you could see. Go. Now.

We were visiting the area from Johnstown, and Woddys BBQ was recommended by a friend. Now, I'm going to recommend it to anyone reading this review. The food was great. My wife said the pulld pork was probably the best she ever had! I had the Sampler, and it was excellent. The ribs were perfect. Prices were good, and the service was even better. If you want the best experience possible, ask for Hailey to be your server. She was friendly, helpful, able to not take a joke personally, and can sure give it back. I hope the management, owners, and any customer who's lucky enough to have her as a server, appreciates the absolute gem she is.

Great place to work,eat, and great customer service. I would advise if you are driving through huntingdon to come check it out.

Had it delivered to our Hotel thru Door Dash. Pulled Pork Sandwich and Chicken and Ribs excellent. Sweet Tea was good

Went out for a bite to eat watch the football game and it was very enjoyable. The 6 got wings were cooked perfectly and the Aoki Woody sandwich with creamy coleslaw was awesome. Madison was very nice and polite and service was spectacular. I'd go back again when in town. Just a short walk from hotel.

Amazing ribs. We were three hungry guys looking for a big meal after our bike ride. We each got a full slab of baby-back ribs and we pretty much all said they were the best ribs we've ever had. Great char to complete the sauce and the juicy meat just fell off the bones.

Got the Southern Trio of brisket, BBQ pork, and sausage. Mac n Cheese and fries as the sides. All of it was really, really good!!! Great smoky flavor on the meats, and the BBQ sauce was perfect. Great price too. First time there and will def go back for more.

Had a great friendly experience. We had Laura as our server/ the bartender. She was very friendly and new a lot about the area and well of course the menu. I highly suggest the wings. They have probably the crispiest wings I've experienced. Their Jack Daniels wing sauce is amazing as well. Usually i take ranch on the side to dip my wings in. Lets just say i didn't use the ranch. Will return!!

We are visiting the area for the first time. My husband and I enjoyed our meal and service. Ashley was wonderful! I ordered the smoked wings. They are the best wings I have EVER had. So glad we stopped.

My family really enjoyed our dining experience at Woody's. We shared a platter for 2 between 4 people and brought leftovers home. Generous portions, understanding one child Is young and the other wasn't hungry tonight. My wife said the bar b que chicken was the best she ever had in a restaurant. The sauce was good but the meat was so well flavored that we didn't use much. When we return to visit Huntington, it'll be on the list to visit. The service was also friendly and it was clean.

Lives up to the moniker "world's greatest BBQ". Servers are college students, not professional waitress'. I can look past leaving dirty dishes on table while waiting to pay. The BBQ ribs are AMAZING. Wasn't sure about new ownership, until I visited in person. More menu options, same great taste.

One of the best BBQ places I have ever gone to. The brisket was amazing, it melted in my mouth. The ribs were awesome. The meat just fell off the bone. The service was amazing and all of the weight staff very very friendly. Next time I am in Huntington I will definitely visit Woody's again.
