Indiana Total Therapy

I just finished my PT. Awesome place and the staff is very nice and helpful. They helped me a lot. I would definitely go back if needed.

Occupational therapist rock!

Stim and measurement went fine. Therapist appearednto be irritated or rushed or something. Therapist didn't show me which exercises to do and didn't provide any verbal instructions. She set the strap down and rushed out of the room, so I sat there with the strap. I remembered and completed 2 of them. She never checked in on me like the other therapists do. She chose to sit in reception area and talk with colleagues instead.

I am so disappointed with this company. For starters, the front desk attendant is very rude and has no customer service skills at all. Laughing at customers? How professional. Secondly, if you work in a field that helps people, maybe you should show some compassion. Having a PT cover their ears and tell a patient that they will not listen to them is completely absurd and should result in immediate termination. Would never recommend this company. Wish I could give them negative stars.

I think this place is a total fraud. My doctor prescribed crutches for my injury to pick them up in indiana total therapy (since my doctor’s office was in the same building in Human Motion Institute). I went in and a PT gave me crutches. Then I found out that my insurance company was charged this visit as a “specialist visit” and I was charged with specialist copay. I stopped by ITT and asked why and they said it was because PT performed the evaluation prior to giving me crutches. Their evaluation was asking 4 questions: date of injury, how injured, location of injury and the level of pain. All these information were already available from doctor’s note. I could have gone to medical supply store to just pick up crutches without copay. Next day, I stopped there to pick up a boot. So I asked them later if they have to charge me for the specialist again, and they said they were not allowed to charge for another evaluation within a month. This sounds like they know how to work the system to their own advantage.

I strongly recommend any patients to check their insurance statement closely when they get the bill from ITT. When I need physical therapy after my injury is healed, I will definitely NOT go there.

Awful customer service! If you have any questions or concerns with billing. There policy is don't ask don't tell! I do not recommend this facility to anyone!
