We have bought and sold many homes and have had good agents and really bad. Amanda Uecker is the best we have had in Yakima and one of the top overall best agents we have had in 24 years of buying and selling. She represented us as our selling agent in 2018 and did a great job for us, especially considering we were overseas when our renters bailed, and we needed to get on the market quickly. It was a no-brainer to contact Amanda as a buying agent for our most recent home. She began working with us even before we had our other (out-of-area) home on the market.

Amanda's pleasant yet business-like demeanor makes her an ideal agent. She has been honest and has had our backs the entire time. My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Chris Gordy as he is an outstanding agent. We have been using his services for approximately a year and a half and has been very patient with us. Chris is one of those very detail-oriented kinds of people, he looks through the house before our arrival to check if there is anything wrong, this could vary with paint chips, the water piping, HVAC, and any damages that could affect our loan. He has good knowledge of what we wanted for our home. He kept us updated through our loan process and answers several questions, believe me when I say we asked a ton of questions since we are first-time home buyers! I and my sister had a wonderful experience with Doug on 6/19/2021 when he took the time to drive out of his way to show us a house in lower Yakima County. Although Doug is not the realtor I am working with, he volunteered to go out of his way to show us a home when my realtor was not available. He was very knowledgeable and very detail oriented. He was professional and very informative about things to look for when considering purchasing a home. He was very courteous and patient and took the time to answer all of our questions. When we started out on our path to preparing for buying a home, we happened to stumble onto meeting our realtor, Kirk Wenzel. We had met a couple before and felt either uncomfortable, pressured, or as if we were just a name on a list. We did not have much faith in our ability to buy, nor did we even have an idea of where to start. We met Kirk by chance when we happened to stop at a open house just for fun, one we knew was well out of our price range. After talking to Kirk, giving him an idea of what were looking for and a pretty realistic sense of where we were at financially, we were pretty sure we would never hear from him again. Mostly because, again, we did not really have any faith in the idea that we could buy a home. It was a dream, one we wanted to be a reality, but did not fully believe it could happen.
Kirk was amazing! He called us, he texted us, he showed us how to look for homes, gave us pointers for home loan lenders, encouraged us when we felt disheartened, and cheered us on when we had confidence. Kirk supported us every step of the way. He explained everything to us in a way that was simple without all the terms and acronyms that we heard from other people. He made us feel comfortable and valuable. We could completely be ourselves and never felt like we needed to be perceived as anything different than the goofy playful natured family that we are. Every home we wanted to see, Kirk was ON IT!

My husband and I had the great fortune to work with Bob Traner on our recent home purchase. We had only a limited time to look at properties as we were from out of town. Bob went above and beyond to find out what we wanted and to research homes that fit our budget and needs.
