Had the opportunity to try this restaurant at my job today. The food was great. Was nice to meet Rudy and the team. Looking forward to stopping by the restaurant.

We came in with a party of family and let me tell you... this place is more than LEGIT. DO NOT OVERLOOK THIS GEM. Most certainly will be the first of many visits & deliveries. Anyone reading this, go there and don't wait. Important to support talent small businesses like this delicious & friendly establishment.

I had the pleasure of dining here, a delightful Spanish restaurant located in Catasaqua. I ordered the pernil with yellow rice and beans, and it was a delight. The food was fresh, bursting with flavor. What truly stood out was the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. The owner personally greeted customers, adding a personal touch to the dining experience. This made it feel like a family-friendly place where you're not just a customer but a guest in their home.Overall, my visit to Sazon Dominicano was a fantastic experience, combining delicious Spanish cuisine with exceptional hospitality. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and heartwarming dining experience.

Oh..what a gem! This was the very best Dominican food we ever had.
We shared a few dishes but are definitely coming back to try their weekly specials.
The red snapper, beef, fried chicken, mofongo...all made to perfection. The slow cooked pork was just melting in your mouth.. Try the octopus salad, it is amazing...

Food is always delicious. The staff are friendly and do not mind explaining dishes if you're unsure what it is. Presentation is better then some high end restaurants in the area. They have a house hot sauce that just adds that extra bit. Highly recommend.

Food and service here was fantastic! This place definitely has a Latin home style vibe which I loved. If you’re in the neighborhood, definitely stop by for some good eating!

I needed to make rice and I was running out of time so I called them to see what they could do for me in less than 2 hours. They were super kind and flexible and made me half a tray. It was so good!

Service was great. The place was super clean. So important to me now with COVID. not a lot of people inside. The food was really good. I will definitely come back.

Update:
Today my husband and I came in for lunch 🥙 and we chive to get a lot of things (so many good choices). We got mangu (Dominican mashed plantains) I typically only like the ones my mother in law makes, but for the first time I found a place that makes it just as good. They have great tasting food that feels homemade yum 😋

All I can say is Yummmmmmy!!! This small restaurant is big on taste and customer service. They were extremely busy when me and my daughter came in but everyone was smiling and very friendly.
The food is delicious, I can’t wait to try more items from the menu. Note: for some items you have to call to make sure they made it for that day, but it’s definitely worth the effort. You won’t be disappointed. The dressing for the salad that also tastes delicious on everything else too is a secret family recipe, they need to bottle it and sell it 😋. Stop by and you’ll find yourself coming back again and again, sadly I live out of the area right now but I’ll definitely be back as soon as I’m in the area.

I swear I could eat here everyday and probably eat here too much as it is. Incredible food, huge servings, extremely friendly staff. This has become my new spot for anything local and the prices are great. I really can’t speak highly enough of these people and the establishment.

This place is a gem! Tried them for the 1st time today. The food is fantastic! Generous portions, too. It smelled so good I could hardly wait to get home to eat it!
The owner is very friendly and kind.
Although the place is not handicapped accessible at the present time, they're planning to add another entrance. However, they are handicapped accommodating. If you order take out, they will bring your food out to your car, no need to worry about the steps.

I come from a British and Italian background family and past 15 years have tried so many other authentic cuisines my favorite being Japanese and Burmese.

My friend recommended trying Mofongo and my first time doing so was unfortunately not at sazon. The other restaurants mofongo was so dry it seemed they preformed it and tried to reheat when a customer orders.

This annoyed me and I told myself try another place after reading online there is a lot of bad mofongo.

I was visiting my sister and found sazon dominicano on google map for authebtic Spanish food.

When I walked in the service was very good and I explained I wanted to try mofongo again since my first experience at a different restaurant was not so good. The gentleman was like take a seat I'll show you what good mofongo is.

This mofongo was so fresh and far from dried out. I had it with the stew chicken and added piece of the baked chicken since the gentleman strongly recommended it.

When I say I can't even make baked chicken that is that tender juicy and fall of the bone I mean it. The stew chicken as well and another huge thing to me. The seasoning was just perfect on everything. So flavorful without being too much.

It was like homemade good with fine dine flavor

Then 3 milk cake is bomb too. I will be back!

Wonderful place! Great food and people! New to the area and absolutely love their food. Don't miss out on how much food, you get for your money! Especially, when you have a big family. The food is incredible!
