I worked for a school who used Equinox to coordinate benefits. I’ve been in education for over 20 years, specifically school administration for almost 10. Recently I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer- though I never smoked, it originated in my lung and metastasized to my skeletal system (spine, lumbar, skull.) I also had a stroke and brain lesions as well as fluid in my chest cavity and around my heart. As you can imagine, at 43 years old, I was not prepared for any of this. Since I still retain my health benefits from my employer through COBRA, I still have the luxury and blessing of Equinox being by my side literally like a guardian angel. I am on some pretty significant and timely medication filled through several pharmacies, both electronic and physical. I also have frequent tests, scans, office visits, etc. Because I tend to be scared, I sometimes grow impatient and am filled with anxiety. As a school administrator I’ve been in the position of encountering stressed and anxiety filled parents/caretakers, as well as other members of school communities, I can relate to how difficult it is to consistently show a positive and encouraging demeanor. Equinox team members deliver every time with professionalism, courtesy, empathy and kindness in a timely and informed fashion. Serving as the ‘in between’ when it comes to insurance networks, hospital networks, families and patients can be daunting. They are always on the side of the patient and will literally run through walls to make sure patients are treated equitably, while being included in the process. It is truly a blessing to be able to feel comforted knowing that regardless of the situation, I can turn to Equinox to settle the concern and keep moving forward. They have literally added days to my life and there are not enough words of gratitude to relay that fact. I trust them with my life and I would recommend you do too.

Christine Neiser does a very good job

Paperwork was lost, things weren't communicated, responses took more time than I believe it should have or could have. That delay in communication ended up costing a pretty penny that can't be refunded.

I am sure they do a great job serving their corporate clients but I was not happy as the end recipient with the service.
