My 10-year-old laptop was overheating and when that happened, it ran out of a snails pace. Took it to Dave who replaced the fan and heat sink that would have been fantastic but he also replaced my keyboard, installed a new backlight keyboard and replaced a bed memory chip. I am extremely satisfied with the work and the cost was more than reasonable. Dave comes with my highest recommendation.

Laptop Keyboard wasn’t functioning right and the screen would not turn on anymore and was worried it wouldn’t turn on anymore, found out about him and decided too give him a try and had my laptop working perfectly, very helpful and very quick with keeping you up too date as well. Hello all! I had a freak accident with my PlayStation 5. It fell off my dresser and snapped the HDMI port. I was referred to Dave and once again Dave had saved the day! He didn’t take too long to do it. He repaired the HDMI port and now I got picture and sound. Very happy with the work Dave did he definitely gets a 5/5 and will definitely be the guy I call if I need more repairs!

Dave went the extra mile to be sure not only that my issues with my computer were taken care of, but he came back the second time (without charging me) to be sure everything was good and to install something that would make my computer faster. My Omen Gaming laptop got the "blue screen of death" with a hard drive corruption. David was able to see to it same day and worked over the weekend to save as much of my art, business, and publishing files as possible.
He put in a new SS hard drive with better storage, reinstalled windows for me, and gave me the corrupted HD with instructions on how to get a reader for it should I find his backup missed something.
I appreciated his professional communication over the phone and in person. His prices were fair. His methods are honest and his turnaround is fantastic. And while I hope I don't have any other computer issues in the near future, if I do, David is the guy I'm going to.

I was miles away, I needed to get help for my brother and his crashed computer. I call Dave. I couldn't believe it, he wanted to come that same day within hours. We had our first business interaction with David of Rich Ideas today, 2/1/24, and were impressed that: (a) He showed up right on time (b) He knew exactly what he was doing (c) He quickly grasped the intricacies of each of four issues we knew we had (and found a fifth--the need to finish setting up our businesses' Google presence). He tackled each issue with enthusiasm, solving one in a matter of minutes. In a little over an hour, we were set. We will certainly use him any time we have a software or hardware need. He takes pride in a "job well done", which is a passion that is becoming harder to find in today's environment. What a fantastic business! I had a broken screen on my MacBook Pro on New Years Eve. We called many places to no avail until we called Rich Ideas. He answered the phone right away and was incredibly friendly and nice. He worked with us to find a new OEM screen at a much better price. The install price was more than fair in my opinion. Once the screen arrived, he had it fix in less than 24 hours. My computer looks and works great! I can’t thank you enough! I heavily recommend this business for any of your electronic repair needs.

David came to assist me very quickly as we communicated through the Google contact us app and he responded after hours and showed up the following day for a prompt appointment. He managed to fix my computer on-site without having to purchase any parts and get me up and running until I could back up my data. What a blessing.

My laptop was fixed incredibly quickly, communication was excellent, drop-off/pick-up convenient, and price was reasonable. So glad I stumbled upon Dave, and I’ll recommend his services to my friends and colleagues.

Excellent service! I don’t usually review often, but I’m just really glad I came to him. Part of the charging port to my laptop broke and had to be replaced. All of the places nearby I tried either closed or did not do those repairs, but then I found Rich Ideas on google maps. I scheduled an appointment for the same day I called. I dropped it off, David ordered the part and repaired it as soon as that part got here. The last issue I faced would have been picking it up, since I worked weekends and wouldn’t have time to pick it up anytime soon, but he was kind enough to drop my laptop off where I worked the moment he could! Even the repair fee was surprisingly modest. Incredibly happy with the service and would be glad to use his repair services again if I need more PC repair.

I was able to drop off my laptop immediately after I called. I was told it might be ready later that night. Actually it was repaired before I even made it home! Great service and reasonable rates. This will be my new go to place for computer repair.

David answers the phone promptly and came to my house and rescued my old computer quickly. We ran into some roadblocks, but he persisted and got me the parts I needed within the hour. Beat Dells price by more than half and Dell could not help me. David Did it!

I came to Rich Ideas to diagnose and fix an issue with my PC; it turned out the motherboard was broken, and David did not charge for a machine he did not fix, despite the labor he did.

When I decided to upgrade the computer entirely, he came to my house and walked me through the process of building it, only charging for some of the hours we spent due to him taking extra time to teach me. When we had to cut it short because of schedule issues, he kept an open line of communication and thought into the next two days on issues preventing it from running. Now, the computer is running well!

A deserved 5 stars, and if I have any tech issues in the future I will return here.

Screen on my laptop cracked. Emailed David on Monday. He explained the repair and quote in detail. I received that quote and dropped my laptop off the very same Monday! Amazingly enough my laptop was fixed and picked it up 2 days later, Wednesday afternoon. I was very satisfied all around with the short turnaround and the repair!

I called to get some information regarding my dying laptop. David was very helpful and HONEST. It's hard finding people nowadays who will be completely honest, reliable, and dependable. Most places just want to rip you off. Thanks, David, for answering all my questions.

What a great experience!! I spent hours watching YouTube videos trying to fix my printer. I messaged him at 7:02am and got a response almost immediately. He doesn’t usually work on printers however told me to try two different things. 30 seconds after his free advice, the printer is printing again. Definitely recommend this place and most definitely will be using him for future needs.
