My wedding cake was amazing! I’ve been to several weddings throughout my life and a lot of the cakes were beautiful but the taste wasn’t anything to write home about. This was not my case. My cake was beautiful and delicious. Endless compliments from my guests. So good there wasn’t any left over to bring home! I was lucky enough to be able to make some changes/upgrade my order in relatively short notice and the staff was extremely accommodating. I am more than satisfied with the service and the product. House of Claredon will be my go to for cakes for any event from now on. Recommend 10/10.

If I could give House of Clarendon 10 stars I would. Everyone who works there is incredibly kind. And the cakes AMAZING! They made my birthday cake and it was incredible, everyone loved it. The cake was exactly what I wanted in design and taste. House of Clarendon is a 10/10 place!

When we met with Martine and shared the theme of our wedding (love letters and books), he immediately got inspired. Not only did he sketch an amazing concept for our cake on the spot, he also thought of a really cool idea for the cake stand and gave us some advice on how to execute it. When he arrived on the day with our cake, he fixed some issues the venue made with our display, which I was not there to catch because I was busy getting married! I am so thankful he was there to make it right because we all worked so hard to make the dream a reality. The best part: this cake not only looked incredible, but was one of the best-tasting desserts I have ever had. All of the Claredon cakes are delicious (we have indulged in several cupcakes as well) but I highly recommend the champagne cake, which is what we had on our wedding. Thanks again to Martine and his team, I knew we could trust you, but it is a unique attribute in a vendor to put a bride and groom at ease. You exceeded our expectations!

About 13 or 14 years ago I purchased my sister's wedding cake for her. It was a duplicate of what her Wedding Gown looked like. It was Absolutely Gorgeous. They had a Lil shop in lancaster. So Nice to see how far they've come. Thier amazing One Day Hopefully soon when me and my Fiance can get the funds together for our Dream Wedding Best Believe I'll be ordering My Dream Wedding Cake from these Amazing Artist.

I was blown away with the birthday cake we recently ordered for my MIL’s 94th. It was absolutely perfect! Everyone said it was the best carrot cake they’ve ever had! The decoration was beyond what I had imagined! The cake made her day extra special and I would highly recommend this place for any special occasion.

We just got married and Martine took the time to design our dream wedding cake. He was absolutely phenomenal and the cake was beautiful!

This time last year we ordered a cake with Martine ( who was nothing short of awesome!) and it was absolutely amazing! It was delicious and looked great! We are now heading back for another cake! Can't wait!

This bakery deserves 10 stars!!! What a dream experience. A large group of friends were celebrating a retirement at the Eden Resort. None of us were familiar with bakeries in the area. I chose House of Clarendon for its positive reviews. I was in for the most pleasant of surprises.
Our overnight stay ended up being during a snow and ice storm. Martine was a gem. This is the best customer service I have received in years!
Most importantly, the cupcakes were THE BEST. Extremely moist and FLAVORFUL. I noticed the negative reviews complain that they have no flavor. Is that because they aren't SUPER sweet? We ALL loved them because they weren't too sweet. We had Vanilla Rum Chata, Pink Champagne, Almond Raspberry, Chocolate Baileys Mousse, and Orange Dream. Each even smelled like its ingredients. And those with alcohol were not overpowering.
Martine, I cannot thank you enough for making this happen. I am sitting here now craving more. I'll be back soon and you'll be seeing a number of my local Lancaster friends sooner.

I ordered a birthday cake from House of Clarendon for my 17th birthday. OMG!! It was beautiful and so detailed. Not only was Martine so helpful, he also went above and beyond when it came time to order cupcakes. The cake was delicious and so were the cupcakes. I will definitely be coming back!

The cake was beautiful and exactly what I asked for, but the real heart of this review was the kindness and flexibility of the staff! Clear communication on style, flavor, and pricing and they were quick to reply to emails. Willing to adjust pickup without hesitation and showed great understanding and empathy for our situation. Bonus points for the shop itself being clean cut and elegant! They’ve got a return customer in us!

Martine from House of Clarendon was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. From our first meeting to discuss our wedding vision, we knew we were in good hands. We discussed changes in the coming months and Martine handled everything so kindly, he was a breath of fresh air during a stressful time! He delivered our beautiful cake himself and made sure everything was perfect. Literally our best wedding vendor. A cake was ordered for my sisters surprise birthday party and all 11 of us were blown away with the decorations, but even better yet, the flavors. The cake was chocolate and had an exceptional flavor and texture! The layers weren't too sweet or over powering, it just all worked together beautifully. Some even had a slice for breakfast! Thank you for a delightful experience, execution, and most importantly a delicious cake.

Great place for cakes! The cakes are not too heavy or not too sweet - just about right. We've gotten several cakes from here and it's always been a crowd pleaser. And the cakes are beautifully made. And the inside of the facility is sleek and fancy. We got our wedding cake here - see the picture!

Overall, these cakes might be slightly more expensive than others in the area, but you're paying a little more for amazing quality cakes and the design.

To celebrate my father’s 70th birthday, I worked with Martine at House of Clarendon to design a custom decorated carrot cake. The cake was beautiful and tasted amazing. Their carrot cake is the real deal- chunks of carrot, dried fruit, and nuts. Everyone enjoyed it, and it was a beautiful cake to commemorate the occasion. Thank you Martine and House of Clarendon!

Tanya and Martine went above and beyond when they accepted my unusual request for an avocado shaped cake for my son’s 30th birthday party. They were so kind and professional to work with, covering every detail and when I picked up the cake it was so beautiful. We transported the cake to Brooklyn, NY for the party and my son & his 45 guests were amazed, everyone commented that it was the best cake they have ever had and assumed I got it in New York, why would I when we have the best cake venue right here in Lancaster!

My mom surprised me with a cake for my bridal shower. The quality was excellent and the pink champagne flavor was delicious. The leftover cake was even better the day after!

Made a simply stunning 3 tier cake for my sons wedding and it was incredible! A flawless cake with unbelievable flavour. We received so many compliments on not only the beauty of the cake but the taste. Martine definitely did his very best to deliver what the bride wanted! He took so much time with the tasting and really just nailed it! Do not hesitate to get your wedding cake or any other cakes here.
