Lyndon Diner

Great diner and very good food especially considering that it's a diner! The menu is decently large, reasonably priced, and they have some unique food items.

And everything we had was delicious. I recommend the chicken avocado melt - it was so good. And the sweet potato fries are delicious and come with a homemade sweet nut sauce.

Definitely recommend this place for a nice solid meal! Also, note, they have alcohol and some unique cocktails!

Classic diner! The only thing missing is “Alice, Flo, Mel, Vera. Truly a gem of a diner with friendly, professional and courteous staff members. We order a couple of burgers w/fries along with a club sandwich w/fries. Everything was hot, fresh and came out accurately and at the same time. Truly a great local restaurant I would advise anyone looking for a good quality meal, check out Lyndon Diner.

Lovely vintage place. We stopped there twice for breakfast and it was very yummy. Everything was good and delicious.

Food was so good and the prices are reasonable. My server was very friendly. If your in the area I highly recommend it. Oh and the keylime cheese cake... out of this world.

Solid choice. Loved my food. Only thing is the desserts were not very good, however it might’ve been my fault for setting my standards too high after having an epic meal. I got the Irish breakfast

If you’re looking for a classic diner vibe, this is it. It’s got breakfast, dinner and everything in-between. Sizable menu, sizable portions, affordable and served quick. If you have room for dessert they have a wonderful selection of baked goods!

Stopped for dinner here. Coworker and I have been in the area for a week and wanted breakfast for dinner this seemed perfect. Ordered the special with the cinnamon swirl French toast (recommended by our server). It was all good, the French toast was so rich that I could only eat 1 of the slices, turns out that was ok because there was so much food I could not have finished it anyway. The atmosphere here is certainly quaint dinner. They have a large selection of bakery treats, but unless you are splitting a plate or taking it to go, I wouldn’t plan on having anything from the bakery case.

Cost was very reasonable and portions were large.

Only complaint was my sausage was very over cooked, to the point it was inedible.

Great portion size, quick service, and delicious food. About all you could ask for from a diner. Our waittress was absolutely amazing and remembered every single persons order at our table without even having to write anything down. Highly recommend.

I've been here twice already and I was actually impressed on the quality of the food. Definitely not a bad place to hit up especially if it's super late. I've gotten both the Crab Cakes and Fish and Chips. Both of these were great.

The staff is super friendly. However, if you stay for too long after you are done eating they'll just stop checking on you. So don't expect getting that drink refilled after you get the check.

The location is great too. Right off the highway. Parking lot is huge. No issues there.

To me, this place is a dream.

The outside literally looks like something straight out of an epic teen 60s movie. Inside I can day the same too, I traveled back in time. The music playing inside just adds onto it, Beatles, Elvis, etc.

Prices are amazing, worth the price for the portions they give, I never left here hungry every time I visited this area. I always take portions home and then continue it for breakfast. The food here is indeed delicious, but I must mention that their Belgium Waffle with ice cream is the best Belgium Waffle with ice cream i have ever eaten at a diner.

Service is fast, professional and adequate.

Keep in mind, I'm from New York, a literal dump with trash people, food, music and overall surrounding environments. This place felt safe and heavenly. Rant done.

My favorite diner&best diner in Lancaster County!! Saddened me when the Manheim location closed😭 They have the best Egg's Benedict

First time here, and we will certainly be returning! With a Celtic vibe, it's atmosphere is terrific and the restaurant is spacious and clean. The service was friendly and the food was delicious. Not a long wait time and the prices were excellent. Highly Recommend!

Tracy and Jenn are the best very helpful and patient would give them 10 stars if could, because the food came as requested and no mistakes I’ll recommend this diner to all me family and friends

Very clean, quick service, good food. We ordered the crab eggs benedict, which was very good. Coffee was freash and hot. They serve beer and cocktails. We did not try it but others in to dinner did and seamed to enjoy them. We were impressed. DO IT!!!

Edit: we have been back mamy times in both Lancaster and Yorks locations. Food is great in both spots, service was better at Yorks, however still decent in Lanc. We still conclude....DO ITTT!!

This place was awesome! So many yummy foods and desserts. I ordered the fried chicken breast strips and the hubby ordered the Hangover Burger. We could not eat everything but we tried lol. The food was hot and tasted great! We even bought some desserts to take back with us. Can't wait to go back and try something different.

That was my first time visit. Cleansenss 10 out of 10. Service 10 out of 10. Presentation 10 out of 10. Taste 10 out of 10. Overall evaluation, the waitress was not annoying but very observant. When our liquids needed to be refilled, she came over and asked. She was very knowledgeable of the menu, and answered questions very well. Yes and yes, I would take the 20 minutes drive and return for an excellent breakfast.

Great diner, but it was very busy Sunday around noon. Had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated, but our waitress was excellent and the food was very good. I had the special French toast and the bread slices were really large and full of cinnamon. My friends enjoyed their meals, too. Prices very reasonable and large portions.

How can you tell when a restaurant has REALLY good food? When you can't find a parking space in their lot. We were lucky and nabbed the last one available when we arrived. We were seated quickly, despite the packed lot, by a smiling face and pep in her step. The coffee was outstanding, the menu varied and large. I tried the Gyro Omelette while my husband ordered the Lyndon Irish Breakfast. Both arrived quickly, served fresh and hot. My Gyro Omelette was so delicious, I had a difficult time slowing down to savor it. The food arrived in such quantities that neither of us could finish our plates! Definitely a great find with amazing food, wonderful staff and a lovely old time diner ambience. I simply must mention the employees bussing the tables. They were so fast, efficient and thorough with each table they cleaned. You gotta try this place!

Stopped in with a bunch of friends after the Santa Stumble for a late night breakfast. Lyndon is like your typical diner when it comes to atmosphere. Service was good, timely and all of our orders were correct. I ordered the Chicken & Waffle Benedict and it was delicious! I've always had a good experience every time I've been there over the years, so they must be doing something right. ☺

They’ve really stepped up their culinary game with their new Açaí Bowls! They are Pure Perfection and Rival all the competitors that stake their claim as a whole entire business around berry bowls! I am an award winning chef and can tell You that Their new bowls are something I could never live without When I visit there, It used to be I thought their cinnamon swirl French toast was the tops and they couldn’t get any better but believe me when I say that Whomever created this Masterpiece deserves to be VERY Proud of themselves because it’s the BEST There is across the board!
