The food was excellent! The staff were great and the atmosphere was incredible! The best part of the whole experience was the view. Excellent view of the statue in the square.

Definitely make a reservation before coming in!

Food was amazing. I had the baby arugula salad, braised spare rib with asparagus and mashed potatoes….outstanding. My friend had the seafood with Risotto…plenty of seafood and the risotto was delicious.
Our server was professional, polite and very attentive.
We will definitely be dining at The Dime again.

With a great bourbon list, personable service ready to go the extra mile, and a chef willing to bring interesting flavors to the menu, The Dime is a great place to leave your pretense and expectations behind. Here, you just want to sit back and enjoy. The carefully curated wine and bourbon selections make for an upscale feel in this Allentown restaurant.

The incredible Brussel sprouts had a Korean fusion taste to them and is a must-order. I enjoyed the NY strip steak, made to perfection. I’ve eaten here a few times and the service has been a bit on the slower side in the past, but I’ve noticed an improvement. The food is fresh and I definitely look forward to more meals here. The price is a bit high and the portions are very large; given this is in a hotel, it may be worth them lowering the price for some of the sides by offering individual portions—I hate wasting the food in getting too full.

Fantastic food and drinks. One of the best restaurants in the area. Comparable to NYC restaurants. We went for Valentines Day. Price fixed menu was so good. Innovative dishes: parsnip gnocchi, ginger and sweet potato purée. Chocolate covered strawberries to finish it all off. The coolest thing was the history and why it’s called the dime. See the pic.

1st our server Stan was very attentive and outstanding. He anticipated our needs and checked on us numerous times. The atmosphere was eclectic and the food was excellent-not to mention the music playing was fantastic! I had the Seafood Risotto. I live in Philly and it was worth the trip.🥂
I'll definitely be back.

Late night meal. Limited entree options but enough selection not to be overwhelmed by too many menu choices. I had the crab cake with a very tasty vegetable succotash side. Excellent choice. The view from the window shows what coming up at the attached PPL Center that is attached. Monster trucks were in the Center the night I was there. Also the hotel I was staying at was attached, so I didn't have to go outside to go to dinner.

We had a great experience here. Brought breakfast back to our room as they don’t have room service at the Renaissance at the moment. Dinner was great! Awesome environment looking out to the city center. Service was superb and food was fresh. Would be back.

We went during lunch. Still had a great lunch menu. Service matched the taste of the food. Started off with french onion soup and lobster bisque (was the special). The french onion was very rich and tasty hot and the cheese stayed melted. The lobster soup was amazing had tons of lobster chunks. Appetizers was the margarita flatbread. Different and taste amazing with the balsamic vinegar. The flank steak was great with the garlic aioli. Italian grinder was really good with the sharp provolone and pretzels bun. All together really great food.

We went her for Saturday breakfast and really enjoyed both the food and service. Saturday mornings are breakfast buffet only but it is not your typical breakfast buffet. In addition to normal pastry, fruit cereal, and hot items such as meat and potatos, they were doing pancakes and waffles to order and omelettes to order. For me, the omelette was the highlight of the meal. It had a much more upscale feel compared to other breakfast buffets. Large dining room windows provide a great view of Allentown. Everyone working was extremely friendly and helpful.

This was our second time here and this place is an absolute must if you are attending an event at the PPL center. Great food, great atmosphere, great selection of drinks and fairly priced. Also the place is never overcrowded and the bartenders are friendly and inviting. Best kept secret in Allentown.

We visited because we were staying at the hotel. Unfortunately our concierge recommended another restaurant first because I would have rather eaten here. The drinks were amazing and very different. Our bartender Sam recommended one of her signature drinks and we loved it. They had a wonderful band, the Foztones, and they played for quite a while and we’re great! It made our evening! If your in the area, definitely stop for at least a drink. The bar is beautiful.

Had a wonderful Thanksgiving meal at the Dime. They were extremely accommodating. We had two vegetarians and they gave us extra of all the sides. The staff was wonderful; Especially Shawn the host who was great with my 5 year old. It was such a wonderful atmosphere. The food was also excellent. Turkey was cooked perfectly. The pork was wonderful. The sides were great too, especially the sweet potato gnocchi. Overall just a great experience.

Delicious meal prior to a show at the PPL Center. Food and service was spot on! Would definitely return to try other items on their menu. The arancini appetizer was the best my wife and I ever tasted.
