Alyssa is terrific,I've been bringing our 4 dogs and 2 cats here for years and she is caring and thorough. She always makes time in a pinch whether it be a matter with my crew or strays that I stumble upon and foster. She's wonderful about recommending great specialty care when it's something out of her ability to treat. She extends herself to the fullest by helping the community with low-cost spay/ neuter and vaccines . She loves animals and it shows.

I am beyond grateful that there was a Vet in the area that offered low cost vaccination clinics and spay/neuter services. It finally brought an end to a multi year nightmare of cats reproducing and money has been tight, Do your research and familiarize yourself with their website, they answer many questions you may have and post rules about pet carriers etc. It's a very smooth process if you follow directions. Everybody at this clinic was friendly and professional. I was also given a pet carrier to borrow so I could bring in my female cat to get spayed on the same day that my male was neutered. I am grateful for that too, pet carriers aren't cheap. Thank you very much for all of the help.

Dr. Alysia is the best vet EVER! Always gets back to my emails and answers questions. She even shares articles with me and has tons of helpful info on her site. Just an all around amazing woman. I trust her completely with my animals care!!

I cannot stress how grateful I am to have this level of compassion and care in our area. Dr. Deaven is so responsive, helpful and compassionate in her care of animals, particularly when it comes to feral cats. Her low-cost clinic has helped us spay, neuter and vaccinate about 2 dozen cats in a neighborhood feral cat colony. My neighbors and I simply could not have afforded this without Greys and Strays. Thank you for helping us stabilize a local cat population to give the kitties a better life. Forever grateful for your hustle, professionalism and most of all compassion. The latest cat found trying to survive in our farm meadow is actually coming around and will hopefully be adoptable soon thanks in part to Greys and Strays.

Very nice & friendly. Good with our 2 kittens. She gave good advice for the care of them. I didn't feel rushed at all. Very much worth the drive, I will continue to take Taylor & Swiftie to Grey's & Strays for all their kitten/cat needs.

My family had to put down our cat of 16 years and Grays and Strays was the only place that would help. Dr. Alysia Deaven Was so caring, kind and compassionate. She even sent us a sympathy card! ♥

Very good, the people are very nice. It was a little confusing where to go in to the place. It's the small blue building through two fence doors up a little ramp. Everything went well and Tanner is doing great.

The doctor was incredible! I have a very small female who was carrying 6 babies, and she wouldn't have been able to carry to term. **Warning controversial to some** The doctor was able to do a successful spay. She has been so supportive throughout the whole process and the healing process. She has cared for all of my cats.

Exceptional veterinarian. I've worked in the large animal health field for a decade and as such have worked alongside a large number of veterinarians who fell on all parts of the spectrum: from those who set the bar incredibly high to those who must have finished last in their graduating class.

Dr. Deaven has always treated my pets and I with kindness and respect. I admire the minimal stress techniques she uses for unpleasant procedures, rather than rushing to physical restraint. She has communicated with me at all hours of the day and night when I was panicking about a sick fur baby, something that very few small animal vets will do despite it being common in the large animal world. She's practically bent over backwards to accommodate my pets during emergencies.

This isn't a huge clinic with multiple practitioners, so she does a lot of outside referral and I've immensely appreciated her blunt honesty when something is beyond her scope of practice, unlike some vets who will insist on an unproductive examination knowing they can't treat your pet or those who have such high opinions of themselves that they will not take your concerns or observations seriously.

I really just cannot say enough positive things!! Her prices are incredibly reasonable and she really goes above and beyond to stay within your budget.

The few negative reviews surprise me. I would guess that some, if not all, of these people failed to develop a professional relationship with a veterinarian prior to their emergency. Your failure to plan is not the vets problem. Veterinarians are under huge strains that make them susceptible to compassion fatigue, something many patients cannot comprehend until they have worked in the industry.

If I can offer one bit of advice to new pet owners: Find a veterinarian that you like and establish that vet-client-patient relationship. Yeah you can pay $7 for a vaccine and do it yourself, but it's wise to have your pet seen at least once a year, communicate respectfully, and pay your bills faithfully, so when you do have that emergency your vet will be more inclined to go the extra mile for your fur baby.

Grey's and Strays offers low cost spaying and neutering for pets and outside strays. They also offer vaccinations and other treatments at reasonable cost. The staff is wonderful and understanding of your pets' needs. They help with follow-up treatment and will answer any questions or concerns during your pets recovery. We live in a rural area were able to get three of our outside cats "fixed" to prevent unnecessary future pregnancies. We fostered many kittens but it wasn't easy to find homes. Spaying and neutering was the best solution.

I seriously could not be happier with Greys and Strays. They were able to accommodate and get my female cat in even after I made a mistake with times. Absolutely so friendly and so understanding. I also had my male cat fixed here and it was a super easy experience. I could not recommend them more and I really love how they help the community with offering low cost services.

I've been bringing a stray kitten here who adopted my family almost a year ago. Having a stray is new to me and I've had alot of issues and questions. (Trying to keep an outside cat healthy is alot of work.) This vet has been extremely helpful and accommodating.

The best vet we have ever had. She (Alysia) takes so much pride in making sure these animals are well taken care of and go home in the best shape she can make them in. Never once have we left not well taken care of, she will follow up and will answer ANYTIME of the day/night. We have had issues where our dog needed emergency surgery, she recommended the best. Called us to follow up, and even messaged back and forth to ensure our baby was well. We also had an issue tonight where our fur baby needed to be seen extremely last minute, and she made it happen. Between clients, and still keeping her flow and professionalism at a all time high. Our baby loves going here, and we trust her before anyone else in the animal world. Very knowledgable, and reputable, thorough, loving and pure. Recommend to any pet owner.

The best vet in Central PA. She is an elite vet. There are some people who gave this place negative reviews that never even went there. It's too bad for their pets. I drive from Philly for them to care for my pets and will continue to do so because they know what they're doing and they shoot it straight. We are getting top quality care for our pets at super reasonable prices. We love this place!
