Dr Lo was extremely careful that I did not suffer any pain during the first two procedures for my new tooth implant. He seems to be upholding the excellent tradition of the senior dentists here. The support staff are also excellent, always polite never talking down to you. I've been with this group now for I believe over 15 years and I've never been disappointed or made to feel apprehensive about any procedures. I was traumatized by my childhood dentist but I don't fear going to Gentle Dental. They really are gentle.

Always a pleasure getting my dental care from Gentle Dental. The staff is friendly, and efficient. I've never had a bad visit throughout my 5 years of coming here.

Everyone there is always so nice! I am very happy there and have been a long time patient, I feel confident and "at home" at Gentle Dental, I thank all the staff there for the friendly atmosphere.

Everyone there is really nice. The two ladies at the front desk helped answer questions about my insurance I didn’t know(I never had insurance before). The assistants and the dentist were very friendly and kind. They answered any questions I had about my teeth and possible procedures. They explained things before they did them. I highly recommend.

Truly a fantastic team of dental professionals that are truly "gentle" and have great talent and expertise in keeping me smiling! From the office staff to the hygienists (AMY) to the doctors, (Drs. Ferguson & Minetola) I couldn't ask for a more caring, knowledgeable team! Dr. Mark Minetola has always been a great dentist. His enthusiastic personality is very contagious and his way of recommending dental care is comforting and funny at the same time. Does not push to get treatment done but what is really needed. His staff has always been very friendly. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

2024 Review update:
I think this dentistry practice administration changed. I called a week ago to make an appointment after checking my new dental insurance in network practitioners. I was told that practice was not part of the network by receptionist. I decided to contact Blue Shield CA this week again because it didn’t make sense. Representative from Blue Shield checked and assured me that Gental Dental was indeed an in-network participant. She decided to called office on a three way call informing receptionist right away that was a three way phone call. Receptionist right away said that I had Guardian and not Blue Shield and that I have not been in office since 2021. When Blue Shield informed her again that I have another Insurance and that I was online with then, SHE RUDELY SAID: WE DON’T DO 3 WAY PHONE CALLS AND HANGED UP ON US. HOW RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! I can’t believe and understand this type of behavior. It just doesn’t make sense.
I stopped going to this practice because they didn’t accepted my previous employer insurance. And now that I was able to go back because they are in my new Insurance in-network participant list, receptionist becomes rude and uninformed on how to check and work their system to give an informed response to client.
Please, when administrator of this practice see this updated review, I recommend to have a training on cordiality, professionalism and refresh course on how to use the practice software.
This type of behavior is pushing existing and future clients away. I do hope this review is taken seriously.
