The Walbert Ave branch is the BEST! Everyone here consistently goes above and beyond to provide the best member service. There are many regulars who have come to this location for years specifically because of the amazing service that they receive at this branch. Every single employee is kind, efficient, and knowledgeable. Kristy goes out of her way as branch manager to help members in a way that is simply amazing. Kathy is an incredible product specialist. You couldn't ask for better tellers than Lora, Becka, and Diana. There are so many good things to say about the Walbert Ave branch!

Walbert ave. branch will always be my go to location for ALL my banking needs. Kristy Berger and her staff are knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. There are branches closer to me but I'll drive the extra 15 or 20 minutes every time. Having professionals treat you as family, share a smile as well as provide outstanding service (especially in today's world ) is well worth the trip.

What a great experience I just had at the Walbert Ave. branch of People First!! I was there to become a member and apply for a pre-approved car loan. But what I got when I met with Kathy Moyer went well beyond that. Kathy was SO personable, knowledgeable, and eager to help, I left there feeling genuinely valued and validated. I really wonder now why I ever gave my patronage to any of the "big banks." By joining People First, I think I may have just made my wisest financial decision to date -- I'm looking forward to a long and beneficial relationship with them. Choosing to join at the Walbert branch, well that was just the cherry on top!

From the second I walked In , to the time I left with my new bank accounts and loan was the best banking experience I ever had. Very friendly and took time to explain anything and answer any of my questions which I always have a lot . Will never deal with another bank again I’m here for life at peoples first Walbert ave location . Which is the best location and also the only 5 star branch , yep 5 stars so stop in ASAP to see how it should feel at your bank .

I am so happy Walbert Avenue has reopened. This branch is like a hometown office. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. No question is too much to ask. Hats off to Kristy and her crew..Diane, Lora, Rebecca, Kathy, and everybody else. You reopening is an early Christmas present!!!

I've been dealing with this staff at this location since before they were people's first. Banks change names all the time, but the employees are what makes going to this location (which is 12 miles away from a closer local) enjoyable. Usually you walk into a bank say hello, do your business and away you go.
BUT NOT HERE. you cannot make it out the door without someone (like Lora)asking about your kids or your spouse.
I've had just about every type of financing through out the years, and I've used different banks. But this branch has personally stepped in and offered different routes (refinancing)that have saved me money when other (branches) banks just let me keep paying high interest loans.

It's not a matter of professionalism with her. It's the FACT that she looks at all her customers as family.
She has gone way way way out of her way to help everyone that walks through her door. Myself in ways,I can never thank her for. Truly I can say, without her, I would not have what my family and I have today.
She will call you on her days off for reminder appointments and to make sure you get information you need or to just check in on your thoughts with your financing.
My. Opinion she deserves her own branch.

People first is growing and this is their newest location. Needed to get to my check cashed and they were right down the road from my physical therapy. Cashiers were very pleasant.

When I moved to the neighborhood 15 yrs ago I wanted to work with a small family style bank and my neighbors recommended LVFCU on Walbert Ave. outside of Allentown which was down the block from my new home. I went in and met with the bank and opened checking and savings accounts. I could feel that small bank charm. Over time LVFCU was purchased by People's First. This worried me a bit since People's was multi branches and I was afraid my new bank would lose its family charm. Thankfully most of the people that were there when I signed up are still there. Many moved up in rank and some are new faces but that small family bank appeal remains. I can put my money any place I want to. But there is a notable difference walking in to my People's branch where they call out your name as you come through the doors vs. walking in to a big box bank. Its the people that make the bank, not the name on the building. Many bank CEO's forget that when they change the small bank feel to one of all business and corporate structure. I'm proud to say People's on Walbert Ave. is my bank. My recommendation to the CEO's: don't wreck a good thing.

Amazing staff! Been going to this location since I was a teen and now almost a decade later they helped me purchase my second vehicle through their loan options. Extremely happy overall

I have been banking with this branch for over 10 years !!! My visits have always been great, every employee always friendly and go the full extent to help my needs. Definitely 5 star branch and would recommend banking with them!!

I want to say a great thank you to the team at people first at 2218 walbert Ave Allentown PA 18104. Especially kristy Berger she is a great person to work with I've been going to see her before this place become people first when it was Lehigh valley credit Union she do all the loans that I need to do on my vehicles refinance new loan. just the other day I stopped in to get a loan for a motorcycle she start big and working on it right away did not take no time the team is just a great team to work with they get it done to help you out with what you need give you direction information it's just easy so anybody looking for a loan refinance anything go see kristy and the rest of the team you will not regret it.
