Vesuvio's Restaurant & Pizza

The woman at the counter was super nice, and the eggplant parm I ordered was incredible! It even came with fresh bread and salad with your choice of dressing, which i thought was good value. I also have a calzone with broccoli and cheese, would recommend!

I recommend this restaurant I like the friendly manner in the way they treat you. The food is great.

Overall, as far as I can find this is the best slice you can get for a normal price in Allentown right now. Everywhere else seemed to jack up their prices while Vesuvio’s is still a good price and a good slice of pizza. Very nice staff and will come again.

I'm grateful for other reviews bc it made our decision to stop as we are not from the area and wanted pizza. We got two personal pizza's. They are a generous size which we loved the size. Pizza crust makes the pizza and this was excellent! Bookmarked so if we are in the vicinity again we could try another Italian dish they offer.

This restaurant has been around for years. I have been frequenting this wonderful place since I was a youngin. My parents and I used to go a lot. Now Im 38 andI never hesitate to order from Vesuvios when the family wants Great pizza. If you have not tried their food yet, you should definitely go check them out for sure. It's a family owned and run business. They are very nice and welcoming. You can eat in or take out. Their pizza is absolutely delicious and so decently priced. They have so many other dishes to choose from as well. They have pasta dishes, chicken parmesean, hot and cold sandwiches, salads and so much more.

I lived off the pizza while pregnant and still enjoy only once a week now though! Probably the best pizza in Allentown and they make it a little crispy which I personally love ❤ and they are quick. I tried a specialty pizza (pierogi pizza) very very good just will ask for a little more mashed potatoes on it next time but was so good! Keep up the good work!

We just ordered Chicken Parmigiana, and Spaghetti with meatballs. Truthfully I wasn't expecting anything great from a local place known for pizza but, WOW! Was I wrong!
The CP was excellent, came with a side of pasta, small salad, and warm bread. The SM had four nice sized meatballs and came with the same salad and bread.
Everything was as good, if not better than some larger restaurants where we have eaten, and the dinners were quite reasonable.
Outstanding experience! Great job Vesuvio's!

Great place to get Pizza! I’ve been coming here ever since I was a kid with my father for over 20 years and it’s always been a great place to get Pizza. When the place went under new ownership back in 2017 if I recall correctly I was worried it wouldn’t be as good but I was wrong. Great staff and still the best pizza to buy on the south side, I highly recommend the place!

I just ordered a large pizza and it was delicious. Workers are very nice and friendly, prices are reasonable, place is very clean and most importantly the food is excellent. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Elio does a fantastic job running this little Pizza shop, his employees care about the quality and punctuality of food orders.
The Pizza is very authentic and some of the best you can find in Allentown, probably even the State of PA. Truly great Pizzeria style here.
The menu is extensive too, good sandwiches and cheesesteaks etc.
