The Hickory

Our waitress, "Kennedy ", was very attentive and polite. See took our order prompted we didn't have to wait long. Food arrived sooner than expected, and was as ordered. Atmosphere was calm and casual. Good lighting and plenty of room. The place was also very clean. The only downside is they don't serve alcohol. Everything else was on point.

This place had good food and pleasant staff. The mixed lemonades and sodas were fun. Several reviews listed high prices but the prices fit my expectations. Food has gone up in cost over the last few years.
Recommend the ribs.

Best place we ate in Idaho! The potato bomb was everything I’ve ever dreamed of and came with a side, the lemonade was also super yummy, I got pineapple huckleberry. My girlfriend loved her prime rib, we wish we had eaten here sooner!

This place is amazing! I give it five stars. It would be more amazing if they would sell alcohol. The server was excellent. So was the food.

This place is yummy! Lots of variety and some unique items we haven’t heard of! The pizza was really good for kids that don’t want BBQ. Definitely recommend!

Found this place by accident and it was one of the best parts of my trip! My filet mignon was cooked to perfection and was juicy, tender, and superbly seasoned; the green beans with bacon were delicious, and my baked potato was tender and fluffy. I also had an appetizer and it was all less than $40! I will be back (hopefully very soon)!

I can't find any reason not to give it 5 stars. The food was great, the Prime Rib with its wonderful herb crust is just excellent!

My wife and I eat Prime rib there about once a month. It is always cooked just right. Never had a bad meal there. Waitress forgot our salad once....

Excellent BBQ - best we’ve had in Idaho so far. Burnt t ends are sweet and super tasty. Ribs were just the right level of gooey goodness. Pulled chicken was moist and full of smoky flavor. Service was prompt and all the food was piping hot and fresh.

Great food and great prices. We ordered the trout,green beans with bacon,grilled crispy sandwich,cheese curds all of it was great. The only disappointment was they were out of rattlesnake bites. All 3 of us left filling well fed.

Loved the food! I got the pulled pork sandwich meal and it was delicious and totally worth the price! I also really like the feel and look of the inside of The Hickory. Workers were friendly and I always got a refill when I needed it. Whoever prepares the meat for this place does it to perfection!

BEST wedding vendor I worked with! Aside from the food being absolutely phenomenal the service was amazing. The Hickory catered our wedding and I highly recommend them. They were so kind and helped us with a tasting before the wedding then came, set up, took down and had all spare food ready to go for us after. This vendor for a wedding is the best. Any bride who doesn't want stress go with The Hickory. Also again the food was great!

i would make the 45 minute drive to rexburg just to eat here! the waitress was great and gave us awesome recommendations, and the food was excellent. i had the how you doin? burger, and it was delicious! very affordable as well.

Absolutely loved this place! They served excellent food and large drinks. The atmosphere was nice as well. My significant other and I always joke about driving from Utah to the Hickory JUST for dinner, because we loved it! Thank you!

It was absolutely delicious. The brisket was juicey and tender. The Mac n cheese was nice and creamy. The Mixed soda I had was phenomenal. It was the Harvest Moon. Definitely will he coming here again some day!

The brisket burnt ends salad is loaded with meat and fresh vegetables. It's big enough for 2. Fair prices, good service and large menu selection.

Despite the humble exterior and the small interior, the food was delicious. The servings were large compared to the price. The sandwich that my friend got was as big as his face.

The meat was well seasoned and tender. Didn't taste like a piece of cardboard. It has its own flavor and can stand for itself, rather than being smothered in the other ingredients.

I personally love this place, however I can only speak to the steak which I order every single time. They have great service and hard-to-beat prices. I would highly recommend if you want a good steak for the price!

The Hickory has a great location there along the busy 2nd East there in Rexburg, at the center of the little strip mall, where Deseret Book used to be.

We got the family plater with the Beehive special which was the french dip sandwich with fries. I also received a free ice cream for my birthday. It was all very delicious.
