Valania Park

Took my grandson. He had a good time.......

Beautifully renovated park with the only Oodle swing in the Lehigh Valley. Restrooms, a basketball court and a nice playground.

Its a very nice lil park had alil of everything for everyone and it has a hidden gem alil store right next to it . It have a water sprinkler for the kids , basketball court tables with built in chess board , the jungle gym and area for picnics and sun bathing and brand new bathrooms .

I had a good time there with my baby. Not gated but secluded from heavy traffic. Will go again. Could potentially have BBQs there.

This is a great park every time I visit my brother who just move to Allentown I take the kids and that have a blast..

I was able to stop at the park while visiting family.

Quiet , clean park , very nice specially for kids if they like water sprinklers on summer time

Beautiful community park. Their is enough shade for everyone. I hope when the city remodels this park it ask the residents and the regulars what is needed. Please listen to the people who have been caring for this place for years without asking for any compensation. Continue it being a true community park

It was a place where the brothers and sisters I grew up with use to gather and mingle, played basketball, argued, partied, laughed and loved one another. As a basketball player, playing at Valania against the fellows was a major part of my development as a player. I am in the Valania Park Hall of Fame, I say that gracefully. In enclosing if it had not been for the Lord who gave me the ability to play basketball I would have never became the player I was. I was very competitive

What more can I say this is like my birthplace I grew up in this park it's a part of me as well as the rest of the community as the last black Park and the City of Allentown I take pride in valania park I wish the city would do more for it like they did down Cedar Beach over now what do they call it Andre Reed Park used to be Irving Park if any part should have been helped rebuild to make better it should have been Delaney apart 20 30 years ago but it's okay we'll take our blessings whenever they come but yes my experience for valania Park is five stars all day everyday thanks for asking sincerely mr. Basketball court has lights on until 10pm.

I love this place. So many good memories I had here. I grew up around there. Very family oriented and fun.

Uses to come here with my dad before he died love this park its never usually packed with people only in the summer when people want to play basketball. Love this park
