Food is really good! It's clean and the meat has really good flavor.

In a world of labor shortages and supply chain issues, these guys keep hustling to provide upscale customer service at fast food prices.

I have been here twice, and they definitely did some upgrading since I came here last in 2020. The store is beautiful, and definitely gives a Mexican feel. I came around 8:30 on a Saturday night, ordered my food, and I got it no more than 5 minutes later. I got a California burrito and a 12 oz coke, both exceeded my expectations and were delicious!

This in my opinion is the best tasting Mexican food in Rexburg and some of the surrounding areas.
The portion sizes are good, the prices decent, the aroma is awesome, the meat, salsa, and sauces are flavorful!
Only downside is it is generally busy, the parking lot situation is a bit odd and can be hectic when crowded and a little noisy inside and the open seating/setup feels a little strange.
I think some booths and some sound dampeners would help the ambiance of the eating experience.
I can recommend the burritos 🤙🏻

My Californian husband finally has a Mexican place he likes in Rexburg. The food was high quality and I'd say it was worth the price, probably $8+ per person. The only reason I won't give it five stars is that it takes a long time to get the food, but if you can be patient, it's worth it. My picture isn’t perfect since I had already taken a bite. It’s that good!

Edit: the night I wrote this review, I think they were having an off night. We’ve been back once every two weeks or so for date night and they are much faster. Love this place!

We love Casa de Ochoa! My personal favorite is the California burrito. It's got tons of flavor and is actually really big, most of the time I have trouble finishing it. Their burritos are made with homemade tortillas that taste delicious. I also recommend trying the loaded fries, they put lots of toppings on it with the fries and is super filling! My husband and I usually share one order and we're full after. Best horchata in Rexburg! It's homemade and tastes sooo good. The atmosphere is really great as well, they have a rubber chicken that you can squeeze instead of a bell to get the staff attention, which I think is pretty hilarious. Definitely recommend for some good Mexican food.

Casa de Ochoa never disappoints. I got the big boy burrito with cheese blanket around it. If you’re hungry this is the plate. If you love cheese this is the plate you want!

The food is amazing! My husband and I love it so much! We tried out the karaoke last time and it was a blast. The owners are super kind and fun! I highly recommend eating here! Also, the buñuelos (not sure how to spell them) are such a good dessert.

This is the most authentic Mexican food in town, it's really good. I hear they are opening a restaurant in St. George Utah!

We've eaten here several times and the food quality and bang for your buck has not disappointed. This most recent time my wife and I both got nachos; she got the carne asada fries and I got carne asada nachos. They hit the spot! 5 Stars and would recommend.

Their California burrito is SO GOOD! I usually will also order coke and strawberry cheese cake. I love this place and will always come back.

Longer answer: prices are worth it! Not a lot but a lot of tasty food! Really nice staff and helpful. They show their love and even care for you outside of being a customer. They see you as a person and treat everyone like equals. I could go on and on, but I’ll say this. If I could only eat from one place in Rexburg, it will always be here.

Best Mexican Food near BYUI!!! The portions are generous, get burritos that’s what they are known for.

Fantastic Al Pastor tacos! Had heard great things about Casa De Ochoa from my wonderful friends at the Taco Box and finally got to test them out! They're Al Pastor tacos were wonderful and so full of flavor, would highly recommend to all!
