Este cementerio es un lote de basura y animales muertos la gente los tira allí,nadie responde por nada, nadie corta vegetación y cuando lo hacen son dos niños que no pasan de 12 años

Fairview cemetery head volunteer here. If anyone needs help cleaning stones or locating loved ones let me know. I will do what I can. I often mow and catalog graves in the cemetery and I am not affiliated with any company just a volunteer. Tylerfatzinger@yahoo.com

This cemetery is barely maintained by its owner. This has been an ongoing problem for at least the last 5 years that I've been visiting during my genealogy research. The grass and weeds are very high. There are groundhog holes and sinkholes in many places, some hidden by the high grass. Many gravestones have fallen over or become buried or otherwise missing. The owner's staff occasionally sprays acidic weed sprays on and around gravestones which leaves large patches of dead grass and causes many of the gravestones to decay and become unreadable.

Despite all this, the cemetery is not abandoned. New burials still occur frequently. A local community effort is attempting to help clean up the cemetery and maintain veterans grave flags. The cemetery owner is often at odds with these people though and frequently tries to chase visitors out.

If visiting in the summer, wear boots or good shoes, pants and a generous amount of insect repellent. And watch very carefully where you step.

Just can't believe that this once beautiful resting place is now in disarray, what a shame. There are quite a few well-known people from the 1800s from Allentown that rest in this now filthy disgusting cemetery. The owner
and staff of this cemetery should be ashamed of themselves!

My wife and family buried our my mother in law in this cementary. I knew something was up when the owner would give me hand written receipts on blank sheets of paper for payments. Then for a whole year I called and asked who could make the head stone, he's reply " it my wife, but she's in Rio". So I got someone else to do it. Didn't sit well with him. I've been a construction worker all my life. He actually walk up to me and told me if I didn't move it his employees would break it. It told him I would break his face, but he walks up to you with his two little son, am I'm not going to put the thru that experience. That was a year ago. Yesterday I went to clean around the grave cause maintanance is 0 or very little. The headstone had been knock over. Today he might loose his teeth. Don't bury your loved ones here.

The organization clearly doesn’t respect the deceased, their final resting place, their families, or the property by neglecting to care for the place.

One glance at the cemetery tells you everything you need to know. Very sad to see.
