Sal's Pizza

The pizza here is unlike any you have tasted yet... it could be a global phenomenon with how incredibe it is! The staff is friendly, they have a HUGE selection of beer and spirits available! The menu includes a multitude of mouthwatering dishes! The atmosphere will also bedazzle you due to the fact that there are lovely Italian paintings adorning the walls and beautiful hand-painted dishes on display (almost as if Picasso himself painted them). STOP IN FOR YOURSELF GET TAKE-OUT, OR DINE-IN & ENJOY WHAT IS REALLY A MAGNIFICENT ALLENTOWN STAPLE!

Such a great stop in the Allentown area! We loved the great traditional pizza!! We tried a few different options already prepared that were quickly heated in the oven. We appreciated the free soda refills. Definitely worth trying if passing nearby!

This place hands down has the best pizza in Lehigh. I love pizza, so I feel I know a little something about quality pizza. If you want delicious, flavorful pizza, with a side of cleanliness and great service this is the place. I literally drive 20 minutes to Sal’s when I want pizza. I don’t eat frozen or reheated food, but this pizza thrown in an air fryer…holy yummmmmness. Additional, one night I went with my hubby and daughters close to closing and the staff was courteous, didn’t rush us out, and even allowed us to dine in…I won’t go near closing again; out of courtesy. I will not eat pizza anywhere else in Lehigh while Sal’s in business. Cards accepted, but pay with cash if you can.

I've been in the pizza shop but lately I order uBerEats with them. Always been really good and no issues for me. The portions to cost here really seem better than a lot of competitors in the area honestly.

Sal's is a favorite in our house. I am newly diagnosed with celiac disease and have challenges on pizza night. I have just been eating salads, but tonight I noticed the gluten free pizza. It was not as good as a normal pizza, the edges were hard and the middle was very soft, but it tasted pretty good. You can see it had a baking tray and even came with a gluten free pizza cutter.

Wonderful discovery on a work trip and saved me from having to wait for lunch. Great pizza and kind staff!

I've been enjoying Sal's food for almost 45 years now. It's still as good as ever. Great people and friendly environment. I highly recommend you try this place.

Best four cheese pizza I ever had

Normally if I arrive at a place and they're closing in the next hour I'll move on. I had my disabled mother with us and it was raining pretty hard but we still needed to get some food in her. ALL the guys at Sal's were accommodating, and friendly. I appreciate them.
Pizza was good as always and we didn't feel rushed whatsoever.

I'm new to the area and I have been looking for a place that has great pizza and a great grilled chicken salad. I just found it!!! Pizza reminds me of home. The crust is perfect. Not too thin or thick. Just the right crunchy. Marinara sauce is slightly on the sweet side which is just perfect. The cheese taste like real cheese, not that fake stuff. I ordered a large grilled chicken salad. Large portions and tasty and fresh veggies (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, carrots, red peppers, and olives). The service was also great. Will definitely be back soon!

Got to know the owners/managera of this fine place about a year ago or so through mutual friends we have in common. Wonderful family owned and operated business thats been in the area almost as long as Ive been alive. John and the crew deliver excellent service and make AMAZING food !! Top Notch these folks !!! Never disappionted when I stop in on my semi truck travels. Always greeted and treated like family !!! Idc what anyone the best steak sandwhich aint in Philly its at SAL'S PIZZA in Allentown, PA !! They also have the pizza this side of the OLD COUNTRY !! Give em try, you'll be glad ya did !

Sal’s is what a pizza shop should be. Great people and great food! I’ve ordered pizza for take out multiple times. Their pizza is AMAZING! They use mozzarella cheese, which is authentic Italiano, instead of the ‘3 cheese mix.’ The folks are always kind and the service is quick and easy. Prices are in line with other shops. I’d recommend Sal’s. Rumor has it they have amazing cheesesteaks as well!

Gotta say, great plain pie. And you want to order plain pie to judge the pizza. Phenomenal. good sauce, good cheese ratio. Our group at work have ordered a plain pie from at least 10 joints in the area in the last 3 months, and Sal's is top of the list as of today.

Purchased a few cheese steaks. They were very good. Roll was toasted. I don't care for the pizza, they use a lot of corn meal on the bottom. It's like eating sand. Other than that place is very nice.

My favorite pizza in the Lehigh Valley!! Their hoagies are fantastic too, the rolls they use are always fresh. Sal and his staff are extremely friendly and they have a good craft/import beer selection. Always my family's first choice for take out.

Best pizza my wife and I have ever enjoyed. My wife usually doesn't eat all of the crust but really likes the taste and always eats every bit of it at Sal's. We live in the SW Poconos but when we are in the LV and are hungry for pizza, Sal's is the place we go. Try it and make sure to ask for a card so you can fill it up for a free pizza.

Decent pizza. Cook accomodated special requests such as thicker crust and used red onions for me instead of yellow, then asked to be sure it was made the way I wanted. Great, easy-going service!

I like bread under the cheese and sauce. If you don't request thick crust or Sicilian it will be paper thin, not pizza to me, others apparently like it that way.

Sal’s has been our fav pizza place for more than 20 years. Consistent, fabulous, delicious. They always accommodate our request for light sauce, and have the best soda fountain birch beer, to boot. Will not go anywhere else in the Valley for traditional thin crust style pizza.
