Johnson's Pond Wildlife Park

This is a lovely lil park to go for a walk and enjoy nature. There is ample parking, it's clean and well tended to. Most folks seem to come here for fishing, I just go to get outdoors and bird watch.

In spring, you can see a large variety of birds from warblers to swallows, heron, red wing blackbird, various ducks and more. There are two looping paths, a figure 8 around the ponds. A meadow to the right under a powerline cut gives a nice view for birdwatching as well.

Nearby, the Trexler Nature Preserve and Lehigh Valley Zoo are other spots if you'd like to make a full day outside in nature.

It is an absolutely beautiful pond. The sloping hillside farms in the area along with the blooming pink lily's among the lilypads. Down the hill behind the ponds is a small creek that flows with a calming soothing sound.
