Dr. Cope is a wonderful person and a skilled dentist.. And his staff are simply amazing! I have 'white coat syndrome' - I am terrified of having to go to any doctor for any reason.. Dr. Cope and his team always make me feel comfortable, from the check in through the actual appointment and check out.. Dr. Cope is very thorough in his exams, and explains each step of the process if I actually need work done.. He also has later appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays, which is a HUGE convenience to folks like me who work night shift.. FIVE STARS for Dr. Cope and his staff!!!

Dr. cope is an honest dentist not up selling to provide unnecessary work. Several years ago I cracked a tooth on a weekend and was headed to Germany in a business trip, I left a message on the office voicemail. Dr. Cope himself phoned me back and explained he could meet me at the office at a certain time. As we wrapped up the proceedure, we were chatting, it turns out he was preparing for his son’s graduation party that day and would be hosting a sizable crowd of guests yet he broke away to fix my issue given my circumstance. That type of compassion and service is hard to find today. Sue the hygentist is also great, I’ve been following Sue for 25 years which is how I met Dr. Cope a few years ago.

I had booked an appointment to see this dentist. I have mitral valve prolapse of the heart, so I have to take an antibiotic before having a dental appointment. I went to this appointment and then realized that I had forgotten to take my antibiotic. The woman who is the secretary there then told me that she could give me an antibiotic called amoxycillin, and that then I could go in and see the dentist. First of all, I am allergic to amoxycillin, secondly, she was not medically qualified to write prescriptions or dole them out to people as she is not a doctor, but only the receptionist. I apologized for my forgetting to take my antibiotic but told her that I would reschedule the appointment while I sat there and filled out their paperwork. This woman just brow beat me every which way but loose because I wouldn't take their amoxycillin and go in to see the dentist.
That evening when I checked on my antibiotics for the rescheduled visit on Monday after the weekend, I saw that I did not have the required amount, so I called their office back to say that I would have to get the prescription filled again by my doctor, and that I was canceling Mondays appointment, but would reschedule when I got my antibiotic prescription refilled. The woman then says to me, "You don't need the antibiotic." I said what are you talking about. She said I called your doctor and he said that you didn't need an antibiotic for your dental appointment. I figured she was lying as my doctor was the one who prescribed the antibiotic for me. All she was doing was being nosy. She didn't give a damn about me as a patient. She wanted to see if I was lying and was trying to make a fool, an idiot, a buffoon out of me. She called my family doctor, not my cardiologist. I had a cardiac catheterization in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at St. Lukes Hospital 42 years ago which showed that I had mitral valve prolapse, and have been prescribed antibiotics ever since upon dental appointments. This woman could replace Margaret Hamilton in "The Wizard of Oz." Invasion of privacy is against the law and she had no reason, other than being a snoop, to pursue my condition through my medical doctor. I am looking into filing a lawsuit against this practice for the invasion of my privacy by her, for no other reason than to be a snoop. I was no longer at the dentists office when she did this. She waited for me to leave. She did not ask me if she could call my doctor to get information from him. She's in the wrong business and should be working for The National Enquirer. One would have to be an idiot to submit themselves to this kind of behavior at this dental office. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone, unless one likes to have their privacy invaded! Take heed, save yourselves some headaches and the invasion of your privacy, and stay away from this practice!!!
