Comfortable place. Food is delish. Got mantis which were beef dumplings with sauce and lentil. Some potato and green onion pastries and everyone enjoy d their entrees. Oh and the mango lassi was made fresh that day. Highly recommend

Was curious to check out this place for afghan food although it was a long drive from home. But it was worth the evening trip. The food was delicious and fresh. Environment is cozy and staffs are really welcoming and friendly. They serve plenty of food for every dish. Will definitely come back.

Stopped in for a delicious lunch. Really liked the chicken salad with walnuts, dried fruit and lots of tender, flavorful chicken. The gyros are packed full. This was a great choice for lunch.

Flavorful delicious afghan food. The rice and the chicken were on point.

Also, their house salad was amazing. Finely chopped and had some onions and pickles in it, the way it should be.

The best restaurant in the Pennsylvania I will recommend the rest for everyone. The results shows on the pictures after and before it’s delicious.🤤🤤🤤

The Best Halal Food in Town, I have been a visitor in Allentown and tried different restaurants for more than 6 weeks but the taste of Afghan kabab is authentic. Anything you pick from the menu is worth paying for I highly recommend visiting this place and enjoy the quality food.

Delicious Afghan food made with fresh ingredients. My favorite is the roasted lamb with brown rice and carrots and raisin topping and the beef gyro.
Generous portion sizes with plenty of dressing choices, and friendly staff. Strongly recommend.

Used to come here when it was called Zanzibar back in the day. Recently came back to this now Afgan restaurant and it was amazing. Very friendly woman at the front, wore gloves when serving and explained the dishes to us.
I tried the tandoori chicken over rice and it was amazing. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The menu has a variety of options that I will need to return and try. Price is also reasonable, better than when it was Zanzibar.
Will need to add this to the rotation.

I’ve always ordered via door dash. This time we dined in. Place is clean and the staff is very friendly. The food is delicious, price is great for how much food you get. One day later I’m eating half of my entree for lunch.

Outstanding falafel gyro! Immaculate dinning room;counter service with friendly staff. I ordered two falafel gyros to go and waited 15 min for fresh order. Pita seemed to be homemade-but I’m not sure. It was just that good! Better than any other pita I’ve had. Falafel was fresh made to order and delicious! They offered two small sides of hummus since we omitted the sauce it comes with. (Sauce contains dairy). The hummus was perfect. The portion size was large, worth $8.99.

Afghan Kababs & Grill. Is wondeful spot. This place is nice and quiet. If you want a peaceful place to enjoy your meal here it is. The food is mouth watering. Meat is nice juicy and tender. Just two bites i felt like i was visiting a old friend house for dinner. The food was season to perfection. Honestly i havent had somethings this good in a long time. I end up ordering more just to enjoy some when im at home for tonight. I recommend people giving this place a try. Get out of your comfort zone and give it a shot.

Stopped in for lunch with a friend. She had a veggie burger with fries and I had a chicken kabob plate with fries. We shared chicken tandoor that came with rice ( I think it was basmati rice ) and a salad.

She said the veggie burger was excellent. It looked as if it was made fresh because you could clearly see fresh peas and other vegetables. She really liked the fries. I usually prefer fresh cut fries but, I liked the fries too.

My kabob was good with a nice seasoning. The portion was okay but, could have been a little larger.

We both liked the flavor of the tandoor chicken. I was disappointed that it was chunks of white meat and not actually pieces of whole chicken parts.

AMAZING FLAVOURS! Food is fresh, place is clean, staff is VERY friendly. This is THE place to eat around the area, I had the cheesesteak and it was great, top 5 for sure - no rankness! My wife even had a bite and said she can eat a cheesesteak as long as it tastes this fresh. Eat here, you won't regret it!
