Starlite Diner

Stopped by with my son while shopping nearby. The interior of this diner was remarkable! It was beautifully decorated & very clean. The fact that the table jukeboxes still work was a very nice touch. The service was excellent & the food was exactly the same. I highly suggest stopping by if you'd prefer a non-change restaurant meal.

First time there today. Waitress Katrina was our waitress and she was great. We came in with a party of 7. Everyone enjoyed their food. Will be back.

I love coming here to eat. Prices are on par with other diners. A little more than fast food and a little less than large chain restaurants, but the quality and quantity of food is better than most restaurants in the area. I’m Italian and was raised on having a proper sauce for your pasta.. the sauce they use on their chicken parm is AMAZING. The size and quality chicken fried to perfection makes this one of my favorite meals of any restaurant. Add in the soup(always several very good, varied selections) and large salad bar with many toppings to choose along with 2-4 pasta salads and you leave full and happy every time. The picture doesn’t do this dish justice but it’s SO good I had to start eating it before realizing I should probably take a photo for the review.

Nice large portions.. very quick service... one of the best egg benedict I've had although one of the eggs was a little overdone..

Super friendly! Stopped for breakfast and wow! We got a crazy omelet and 2 pancakes to share. The omelet and pancakes were as big as the plate! Thank goodness we shared. Food was delicious, and I was tickled pink that they offered breakfast all day, but I worked the night shift, and there was regular food on the menu as well. So after work in the morning I can get a cheeseburger! Will definitely be back!

Stopped by on our trip through, delicious all day breakfast plus the cakes were amazing! We had to take dessert to go.

So i erased my 2 star review from 4 years ago and gave them a 5 star now. I can see over this time this diner has improved alot from the service and the food. Ive been here maybe 3 times in the past month which was the 1st time in the last 4 years. I am strongly considering making this my go to diner once again!

The starlight diner is really good food, waitress seemed a bit grumpy that we joined our family to eat quick but she was otherwise very polite and nice. All around love the food and atmosphere of the place it’s a great place to relax and just sit and eat a meal without having to worry about cooking and doing dishes! Don’t forget to tip your server!

Delicious! Not only did this restaurant look clean and feel clean, it smelled clean! That was the very first thing I noticed in addition to the beautiful look of the exterior of the building. Upon arrival we were promptly seated. Our waitress was extremely friendly, and our food was absolutely amazing! Definitely had to take some home. So thanks to the great staff, for making this a truly wonderful experience.

Very clean place. The food was served hot and fresh. The salad bar was clean and well stocked. The employees were all extremely friendly and we never felt rushed. The deserts are made there and the portions are more then enough.
They are usually busy which is a good sign. However the wait time was under 5 minutes. I really recommend this place.

I stayed at the hotel close by. So I went for a burger but realized that they have so much more than just burgers. It was amazing btw! Talked to owner and she showed me desserts, hook line and sinker!! She packed 3 slices of cheesecakes, caramel, red velvets and New York style, for my wife 8 hrs away. It was amazing even while in a cooler and 12 hrs later. My 2 nd visit to the area is tonight and they did not disappoint. This place it all. Pasta , seafood,prime steak and ribs etc. if you stay nearby in a hotel be sure to get your feedback on. They will satisfy your taste buds to the fullest

Had lunch with my mom. We enjoyed our meals very much. The chicken pot pie soup was delicious! Homemade pot pie dough, not store bought noodles in it. That is something special! My cheese steak wrap was great as well. The soup, however, was my favorite as I wasn't expecting that homemade touch. Excellent!

We always have breakfast here when in town. Convenient to our hotel off I-78. Killer bagel sandwich with pork roll, cheese, and dippy eggs. Yum. Always prompt service. See you on the next trip.

Update...split an ultimate omelet with hash browns on this trip. The Dutch omelet is really good! Don't forget the scrapple and eggs.

I love that there are still diners around. But they are few and far between anymore. This little diner is in Fogelsville and has 3 competing diners all within 5 miles E, W and N of it. The parking lot was full. Seemed like a busy night for the Starlite Diner staff. No matter what you order from breakfast to dinner, you are sure to enjoy what's on the plentiful menu. Fresh salad bar as well. Conveniently located just off I 78 on busy Rte 100. Just over the Lehigh County line. It proves that people still like to sit down and chat over a cup of coffee or have a hot home style meal. I hope that never goes away.

I recently visited Starlite Diner with a group of 8, including 3 kids and 5 adults. We were seated next to the fish tank, which made the kids very happy. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap, my kids got pancakes, and my wife got an omelette. We all enjoyed our food very much. Afterwards, we won ducks in the lobby claw machine, which was a fun bonus. Overall, we had a great experience at Starlite Diner. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was fun and family-friendly. I would definitely recommend this diner to others.

Stopped in on a whim on New Year's Day, to see if they were serving Pork and Sauerkraut. It was listed on their Specials Board. Were seated right away and had one of the most attentive and friendly waitresses we've encountered in quite awhile (and we eat out alot throughout Lehigh and Berks Counties). Our sodas were never empty before they were replaced, dishes were cleared from the table immediately and we didnt have to wait or look for our waitress at the end of the meal to get a leftover container and our check. We never felt pressured to leave.
The pork and sauerkraut was wonderful! We were so pleased with the portion and the taste that we ordered another one to take to his mother. All in all, for $13.95 we had the soup and salad bar with many choices and 3 different soup choices, (I had the Navy Bean and he had the crab corn chowder which were both wonderful and very tasty. The soups were hot and the pots were filled to the top and not picked clean of any of the ingredients.)I also saw they had a pot of hot bacon dressing which looked filled with bacon.
Along with the meal was mashed potatoes.
We thank you for providing us with a wonderful and true PA Dutch traditional meal to honor and welcome in the New Year.

Food always excellent. I've been coming to the Starlight dinner since the 60's. I lived in Reading and now in Hamburg. Always been treated well and brought my family and friends to your restaurant and never been disappointed. Thank you, Karen Cronrath

Always a favorite. I am biased but the food here is reliable and generous. Service is good even when the boss is around trying to be helpful. Recommend any day and time.

Large portions. Great salad and soup bar offerings. Nice place
