CHIK African Hair Braiding

First time going to Chik African Hair Braiding and the owner Mimi is very professional and quick. I've got crochet braids, which is affordable. Plus the place is very clean. I definitely will be coming back in the next 2 or 3 months. 😊😊😍😍❤❤

I would highly recommend chik hair salon very professional. Shop was very clean and neat. I drove a hour and forty minutes to have my hair braided and I love my braids very neat and nice. I will be back Forsure!!!

Jasmine did a PHENOMENAL JOB on my hair!! Before braiding my hair she did a test braid to make sure it was the right size and length which I really appreciate. She was fast, my braids are neat, not too tight, and my hair looks full (I have very thin hair) Nice, clean shop and the owner Mimi has such a good spirit. I will see you ladies again in about 2 months!! Thank you again.

I am so happy with my Mohawk braids. Jamila has done several styles for me while I'm growing out my natural hair and she does a phenomenal job! Mimi (the owner) always treats her customers well & keeps the prices affordable. Once you go there you won't go anywhere else 💯

Very small space but they do good work. They braided my hair really fast. Once I take my braids out I'll return to update it to 5 stars if my hair is in good condition.
Forgot to update but my hair was good. No major shedding. It didn't take my hair out. I'd let them braid my hair again!

5 stars for the fact that the owner worked with me on my style from the time I set the appointment to actually getting my hair done, she assisted with what I needed, how much I needed, etc. She had patience and still upheld my spot even though I was late, pay mind though that I tipped her extra for her time and I was extremely apologetic. I'm new to PA, from NYC and this is the best service I've gotten since moving.

I got box braids about a 1 week ago and I must say I love my hair. I used to get box and micro braids all the time, but I stopped because I felt like every African hair salon I've been too would pull on my edges even after I would ask them to not braid my hair tight. This place was different. I made an appt and I mentioned my concerns about not having my edges too tight and leaving some of my edges out and Mimi understood. There was other hair stylist doing my hair as well but I never got her name. Nevertheless, I had 2 people braiding my hair and I was done in about 3 1/2 hrs. The salon was clean and both hair stylist were nice. My hair wasn't too tight and each braid was well done and the price was reasonable.

Just got my hair braided and must say. I LOVE the results. The ladies are very skilled and professional. The attended to what I wanted and what would be a beautifying style. They treated me as family and I would recommend their services to ANYONE!!!

Mimi has done my hair at least 4 or 5 times. Her work is neat and beautiful. Be specific with what you want and show up on time! I've seen people walk in late get all disrespectful when she has to reschedule. It's not far to the rest of the costumers so be prepared. At most shops there is a fee to do this! I will only trust her to do my braids in Lehigh valley.
