I came in with a mix of blue and purple in my hair from accidentally semi-permanently dying it 2 hours before. Nhu managed to remove the blue and purple and leave me with a beautiful, blonde color which is what I was striving for from the beginning. She did it in only one hour, leaving me with little to no damage and my hair has never felt more alive and healthy. The color is gorgeous, the price is affordable, and the result is picture perfect.

From my very first haircut five years ago, Nhu had gained my trust. She is an excellent hairstylist with a natural talent and a true passion for her job. I highly recommend!

This is a wonderful hidden gem. The owner is so personable and experienced. Today she highlighted my daughter’s hair and it’s absolutely beautiful. Can’t say enough about Modern Salon.

I am so happy I am now a customer of Modern Hair Design. My hairstylist, Lisa, joined Nhu's team over a year ago and I've been coming there ever since. When Lisa is away, I've gotten services by Nhu, the wonderful owner of the salon, and Olivia. I've had the best experiences. It's a warm, friendly environment. They treat you like family.

I’ve been exclusively using Modern Design for four years - and although every stylist there has been amicable and professional, I always ask for Olivia. I actually started seeing her at another salon and followed her when she moved to Modern Design. She is genuine, attentive, and always hears me when I ask for specific details regarding my hair or nails. As a grad student, I don’t always have an open schedule and she and Nhu are always incredibly accommodating. They also make you feel so welcome and comfortable when you’re there, and they both really take an interest in making sure your experience is positive. I have never had a less-than-stellar experience with them!

Amazing staff! Extremely friendly and family oriented. They treat my son like he’s one of their own. They are professional and knowledgeable. I’ve been going there for 4 years now and could never go anywhere else. It’s the only place my son feels comfortable as well.

They were cautious with COVID when they could open again and assured their customers that all was safe. They are always willing to help with styles that fit you. This includes cuts and coloring. They do an excellent job with nails as well. I have friends that will only go there for service.

Lisa is my colorist and stylist and I can't say enough good things about her work. Warm and friendly salon. Have also had services from the other stylists. Give it a try.

I have been going to Modern Design Salon for two years now for my hair cuts and color and every time I have walked out so happy with the results. The salon itself is clean and both Nhu and Olivia are super friendly and accommodating. I needed Nhu to put up a screen to provide a covering because I wear a headscarf (called a hijab). She made sure that I was comfortable and that all my needs were met.
Prices are also very reasonable. Nhu always lets you know how much you’ll be paying in advance so there are never any surprises at the end. Appointments are very easy to make and they also allow walk-ins.

The stylist I had did a great job styling and cutting my hair. She even took the time to make sure I was happy with the cut and showed me how to style it afterwards.

This is the best hair salon! I just got blonde highlights here- which I was really nervous about because i've never colored my hair before. My hair stylist (nhu's employee) was so awesome to talk to. She did great with my hair and made sure it was how I wanted it. Plus they had an 80% off bin of hair products which was super fun :)

I got about 12 inches cut off and no regrets! I was nervous, but Olivia did an amazing job. She was very friendly. I will definitely be coming back and asking for Olivia when I get my next cut.

My 3 sons and I have been customers of Nhu's for many years. We all agree that nobody provides a consistently outstanding (and affordable) men's haircut as she does. Plus, Nhu and her staff are friendly and engaging. A 'must try' if you're a man who is looking to get a perfect haircut every visit.

I went in just to have my hair trimmed. Nhu was fantastic, fast, and she was great with my hair. I'm not from the area so trying a new place can be scary, but I had a great experience and would absolutely visit again.

I highly recommend this salon price is reasonable the owner phnu if i spelled wrong i apologise pronounced lime the word new is excellent she does exactly what you tell her it was my first experience going to this salon and i will definately go back to her she is very nice and professional she also has products up to 50 to 80% off that she sells.
