Long John Silver's (31031)

The girls working were amazing; friendly and helpful! They were cleaning up with less than an hour left and still got us what we wanted, and we didn't have to wait long. Food was great, too!

We stopped at Long John Silvers after we went to Kraynak's to get some lunch. My friend and I were so excited because ours closed years ago. We talked it up so much to our kids, but they weren't as impressed. Lol 🤣 I feel the staff was amazing, so friendly and nice, very kind to our kiddos! I will go here again next time I'm in the area, for sure!! 😊❤

Heather was very friendly and outgoing. It was a busy lunch time and she gave great customer service to each guest like they were the only one there.

The food was really good for fast food if you like fried food. I would choose LJS over Macs every time. We were the only ones in the place at the time, so the server/order taker had time to have a lengthy friendly convo with us, which was really cool. It just added to the experience. It's pretty hard for a fast food place to earn 5 stars, but the fantastic service in an empty restaurant did it for me.

This is a nice LJS restaurant and the fish was very good. Hot and crispy breading with flakey,
juicy fish.

Ever since Todd replaced Shannon as the manager, things have improved drastically. The food, the service, and the restaurant in general seem so much better overall since the change in management.

Just driving through town and decided to stop by Long John Silver’s since it’s been forever since I’ve had it. Food was great and the cashier Steph went above and beyond my expectations for a fast food environment. She even went to each table and made sure everyone’s meal was satisfactory. Great Job guys

Love their fish and chips for $3 99. The fish is real fish not some glob of a fish patty.
Staff are very friendly. Service is fast and efficient. Turnover in staff is extremely low.

I see many of these reviews are about long wait times or missing food. As someone who worked at Long John Silver’s, please take into consideration that how long you wait is most likely due to the cars in front of you ordering large amounts of food, and we (the cooks) can only cook a small amount at a time to ensure the quality of your food is decent. As for the missing items, it’s hard to get everything exact when customers like to drive off a few minutes after they order, or if they do stay, then our cashiers get cussed out because of something out of their control. So if you come to Hermitage LJS, just know that it will not always be a 2-3 minute wait, especially on a busy day, for example, during Lent or on Fridays. Also, we have been short staffed for MONTHS, so we try to do as much as correctly as possible for customers with what little staff we have. In my eyes, this establishment deserves more than five stars because we put in a lot of hard work to ensure that you customers drive off happily, even when you decide to curse and scream at us for something none of us could’ve controlled.

The employees were all very nice helpful really quick I love that part but the drive-thru was out for some reason so I had to go in.

Food was fast hot and fresh. The drive thru was broken so you had to go in but it ended up being a good thing we had a great lunch.
